So we're all going to need Covid passports to go to cool places and/or maybe the pub?
I have signed up to the NHS App and the vaccine evidence service and it was a real minute job. All it took was a confirmation code to both email and phone, my NHS number, a scan of my driving licence, a scan of my actual flippin' face and then a 24 hour turnaround while somebody actually checks all this stuff and no doubt makes me re-start the process because I scanned my face wrong.

I’m on the trains again, it’s surprisingly busy given that everyone is supposed to be working from home.
Games - battlefield 2022. For a game that is supposedly completely moribund, I’ve been having a top time with it. Breakthrough mode is top banana.

Having slept in, I am waaay behind my chores. Horrible nightmares overnight - first I was being chopped up by the black axe gang (listening to a BBC Africa report on them in the early hours was NOT a clever idea). And then the nightmare where you wake up, but you haven't - an endless cycle of 'waking' after sensing a horrible disaster. It could have been worse - i could've listened to James Blunt or lived in RollingEscargot 's Postcode*... who am I kidding? *Actually you don't need to be asleep for that to be a nightmare |

I once visited HMP Send - a women's prison in Send. It was part of a job I was doing. I was assisting a probation officer who was visiting someone there. As we walked up the path to the main building one of the prisoners looked out of a window and started singing the James Blunt song 'You're Beautiful' to me.* I wasn't sure if it was because:
a) She thought I was hideous
b) She thought I was beautiful
c) She thought I looked like James Blunt
I think it was c) because it was around that time that I got accosted by someone in a pub who insisted I was James Blunt and kept asking me for an autograph.
* I realise now the prisoner might have been singing to the probation officer.

I saw James Blunt on our holiday to Greece this year. The pm pointed him out ... She was scandalised that he and his partner had gone up front in Business Class, when his nanny and child / children had sat in Economy.
'Fair enough' I thought.

Ok ...
So this morning I looked out of our kitchen window and saw that the sliding panel to the the plastic compost bin was open. The only explanations I can think of are:
a) A squirrel did it overnight
b) A Claude Greengrass character vaulted over the wall and had a peek in, hoping to rustle some cabbages
c) I did it and forgot
d) The pm did it and forgot
The panel's quite stiff to open and the pm rarely visits the compost bin, making b) and c) most plausible.
Not good.
