I think Gervais is(was) quite funny, some of his stand up is very good, he comes across as a dick but, so what*.
I also quite like James Corden, he's is a talented writer and actor and again may be a dick.
Neither of these people deserve the hatred thrown at them when there are sooo many other targets that deserve the shit.
*I don't endorse any dickishness by them but I can still appreciate** their work.
**also doesn't mean if they turn out a right wrong'un they should still be working.

People being dicks puts me off their "art" - it's why I've generally avoided talking to people who's music I've liked when I've had the chance. Everyone has their off days but someone being a knob to me for no reason would sully what they do. We've used the same plastic tree for over 20 years and I do the lights*, which include wonderful led lights which have different light timings, PM keeps saying that just having them on all the time is the best, I disagree, a slow fade to different colours is the best and as I am the only one who bothers to change them we end up with that. *Pref.Mam. does everything else while drinking Bucks Fizz and listening to Christmas songs, which is about to start in 30 minutes. I'd put up a poll, but why bother? You are entirely correct; slow fade to different colours is best. |

I am being forced to watch the Polar Expresss. As i've no-doubt said before, the PM's brother in law helped write the mo-cap software for Polar Express and won a technical Oscar for it. Strictly final is on soon. About to setup the laptop for some Forza. Had a wee 10 min run around in The Division 2 just there on the ps5. Looks bloody beautiful. I'm downloading th Matrix unreal 5 thing. |

I’m ok with Ricky Gervais. The first series of The Office was good. Some of his stand-up’s ok. Some of his jokes used to be a bit ‘off’ and I wasn’t keen on those, but I don’t think he’s a bad man.

I'm fine with the dancing - there is skill involved. The tears and "journey" patter does my noggin in though.
The child had wotsits for the dancin final.
She inhaled them in about 5 mins flat.

Bugger my arse. It's taken several hours and lots of deaths, but I finally made it to the end of level 1 (Tartarus) boss, Megaera. Then she, and her stupid twat friends, bashed me to death. Need to do some levelling up.
Back to the start we go....again...
