I'm about to take my son to a birthday party. Mrs F is staying home to sort out some Christmas stuff, so I have to navigate the minefield of school parent politics solo. I'm under strict instructions to not 'insult anyone, say anything offensive, or act weird' which would be fine, but apparently I'm not allowed to ignore people either.

Today I slept in till 11. Made BLT sandwiches (with mayo) for brunch for the clan. Marinated some pork for tonight's curry and now I'm ready for a nap. Hoping to get back on Hades later. Still foggy and cold out. A real pea-souper and no mistake.
