(not a) good afternoon. I have failed, I am not happy, I am now going to sulk for the rest of today and wallow in my misery and depression by drinking coffee - a lot. Morning. Having been housebound since Monday, PM took me shopping yesterday. Eek! The world is a lot brighter and grittier since new eyeball. First stop was to buy some wraparound shades to cover my squinting tear stained eyes. Even windier today and we are off out again. Might have to go full helmet. Indeed. Postop appointment Tuesday and hoping for a date for eyeball 2. Being long sighted in one and shortsighted in the other is giving me some weird head feels. No games Do you have to tape on the pirate plastic shield at night?  Yep. Then the joy of peeling tape off my monobrow every morning, while fumbling for the specs I no longer wear. |

Chicken casserole in the oven bubbling away. Chilled afternoon child free. Did some paperwork and I'm downloading hitman on Gamepass. The pm was watching the telly so no PlayStation. Need to try the remote play stuff to the laptop. Not done that yet on the new box.

Swimming lessons for Kid 1 followed by a weirdo on the bus home freaking my son out.
Then a great Chicken Korma and now having to persuade same kid to tidy up the collosal mess he has made in the living room. Already onto my second beer.

Just downloading the Legacy of Thieves ps5 upgrade (£10 if you have the ps4 disc version). I've never played the Lost Legacy add-on so figured this was worth a tenner on its own. And I can play U4 again on 5,000,000 fps or whatevs.

I'm having a go at PUBG. it's making me play loads of AI training rounds first, but it's quite relaxing. I just won a game by walking aimlessly for 15 minutes then getting in a car and driving at the last bot. It's very hard to tell which direction the shooting is coming from. It's a great game, the gun play is the best I have ever seen. My brother and I have racked up quite a few casual mode wins recently. |
