I suppose if ‘History is written by the victors’ then maybe the history of Beatles is written by Paul McCartney. Not an original thing to say I know… Just assessing my new-found positivity towards Macca. I liked both McCartney and Lennon better after watching it. But then you look at the way they seem to treat George. And what are Ringo's feelings on everything? He scrupulously keeps his own counsel at all times. |

Hector wants his treasure. It looks soopoib. I know it's not everyone's cuppa (on rails/story/cut scenes) but it really is a remarkable game. |

I am stupid ... just spent my second unhappy hour mopping up water from my kettle boiling over. The bloody lid seal has weakened to the point that when the kettle boils, the contents decants over the counter... I assumed yesterday that it was my fault* and I hadn't pushed it home. Tonight I was doing something on the other counter and watched it happen - I had enough wit not to try and switch it off and so add electrocution and 2nd degree burns to my woes - I am going to sleep ...
*because it nearly always is.
