I sometimes find myself thinking that each year seems shorter than the previous one, maybe because it's a smaller part, proportionally, of your entire lived experience ... So each circuit feels smaller, faster: Almost as if you're trapped in the vortex of a monstrous plughole, sucking you into oblivion.
