5/10 - I hadn't a clue on any of them. Half blind atm so just hit answers at random Bloody awful out - really windy, squally weather; I won't be in much as it's chores day. It will probably be NCIS whilst doing them... I know it so well that it doesn't matter if I miss 5 mins here or there.

There is a reason it's a bad idea to drink too much and I've just remembered what it is.

Good morning all.
What started off as relatively grey and windy has turned into driving-rain and dark skies.
TVblog: Murderville
Filmblog: Special Correspondents - written, directed, starring Ricky Gervais. Pretty good actually. 4*

Light breeze, occasional light showers. Uninspiring. I was planning a nice drive today but Mr Booze has put paid to that - I'm no Faceless.

Apparently after finishing all my Buds I started on Pref.Mam.'s cider, I wouldn't drive either*.
*Mainly because we don't have a car and I can't drive anyway.

Tids Jnr has just performed a tremendous triple-vomit on the living room carpet. This is probably the most exciting thing I will see today.

Hello. The pm/child/PM's maw are off to the strictly tour this afternoon. I'm cleaning the house. Every cloud and all that.
Games. Run around in the Division and a Dr Dre Mission - apparently it wasn't the last one, so still got the finale.
Fillums. House of Gucci. Didn't quite finish.

I’ve just been for a drive myself, to the wonder that is Sainsbury’s. Followed by a visit to B&Q for some paint. Wonderful, just wonderful.

My determination kept me going until just now, but have to take a break to catch up on stuff and rest my feet - until they stop being quite so bloody painful. But I console myself with the thought that I am not suffering Tids' morning after. Oh well, on with the motley... BoJo's Target Population

I've got a story that may be of interest to amipal , not sure if I've put this to print before - here goes. Back in the '90s, when I was working for a Subaru garage (the Corbett years), one of our regular customers was a massive Scotsman who liked to be called Jock. Anyway, I was always reading books on WWII and my colleagues said I should ask him about his time flying Hurricanes in the RAF. I left it for a few weeks, and finally got the courage to ask him what it was really like. Was it like the films, the books etc... and this is what he told me. "I can tell you this. One day I was flying back from a sortie over France, flying over the English Channel - I'd got lost from my squadron, I was on my own. Then I saw this fighter high above me, and it came down to have a look at me", at this point I said, "was it a German?". He continued, "I don't know, I just gave it a burst with the guns and it buggered off. That's what it was like. I didn't wait to find out whose side it was on." He also told me another story about coming around from a general anaesthetic after a recent operation. "There was this big round light above me, and the first thing I thought of was checking for the Hun in the Sun. Isn't God wonderful." That's all he said to me.

Having another break; my legs were sooo goldarn painful last time because it was concentrating so much on chores I'd missed my painkillers' slot. Fuckwit. Shenguin - they missed a great article title for that clip - A Parrot's Story: I-kea. Mind you, it was mostly a picture of it having a shit. Less quirky, but stunningly beautiful is this clip of a guy walking a track in a remote part of Montana - the Grinnell Glacier. It's also a classic example of a couple of U-shaped valleys. At one time this whole area was under the Laurentide Ice Sheet... Way down below you can just glimpse the meltwaters of the greatly reduced glacier in Summer

Morn'
Terrible weather. Currently hailing.
Drake blog. After much murdering and climbing, with a little bit of puzzle solving thrown in, I finally made it out of the gloom and cold of Scotland. Next stop, Madagascar! In a jeep!
Thanks to Terry for the DL2 review. I'm not currently fancying thwacking stuff with a MASSIVE nail studded bat, but I will get it at some point. I've got Lost Legacy after U4, then it's ROBO-DINO'S 2 and/or ELDEN RINGERS in the next few weeks. Too many games.
OTTM, I too am now in the market for a new microwave, heady times.

Yes, I think that's one my reasons for not getting DL2 straight away, as I'd probably drop it as soon as Elden is released. I've watched a few videos of it but it will be interesting to see how it plays compared to, say, Demons (remake) which is the only souls game I've finished.
