I’m very tempted by Elden Rim but at the moment anything screen based is a no no until I can get my eyeballs working as a pair again.
I am looking forward to the collective impressions of it though. Sod’s law at the moment as I’m looking at a month off work but can’t play any fecking games.

Re: PJ Harvey. Is it really an American accent? If you are singing, that must mask your speaking accent even if you try not to. Singing a long vowel won't ever sound the same as the way you speak it in your own voice. The classic example is Mariah Carey, whose normal speaking voice is broad Somerset.
I like a bit of Rid of Me too. Let England Shake is overrated though.

Just had a Ruffle bar. It was as delicious as I remembered. However, it was tiny, just like my Johnson, two bites and all gone. I've no doubt this is due to that lot *jerks thumb eastwards* in Brussels.

I know what you mean. But there’s Chas and Dave, and Cerys Matthews, and The Proclaimers. Maybe on Rid of Me PJ Harvey doesn’t sound so American … It just sounds like a bit of an American rock voice. But it’s true … I can’t really imagine a Dorset rock voice …. |
