I suspect Shenguin was just trying to be a clever dick when he used BCE/CE. Not more inclusive. Difficult to be certain.

Bce isnβt before Christmas expired? They are missing annoying everyone by not using that. Stovies are good but I never knew why youβd want that half way through a ceilidh. Although drinking all night and then lots of spinning quickly sounds a silly idea too.

I can't remember at what point many years ago I became aware of young Shenguin's successful bid to be a clever dick and consequently switched to BCE in lectures. I don't care about CE, they can do what they want.
People who advocate its use have a point, but I wish there was a two letter option because it's fucking annoying if you have to make the font on your slides smaller just so that you can cram in the extra letter.

(The 1990s CE, I mean, I am also younger than Sheep). I resent it when people treat things I have a memory of as if they are historical events rather then something modern. Also yesterday Nottingham Forest had a player whose dad used to play for them. I don't mind that, but his dad was younger than you. Yes, that is pretty sobering. I still remember the first time I became aware that there was a professional footballer who was younger than me, and that my chance of making it in the pros was finally slipping away. Christian Dailly. Though you probably have to call him CE Dailly these days if you don't want to get arrested.

Reluctantly I gave Nerdle another chance today. How lucky was that first guess?
The answer is very. Very lucky.

Also I can date the death of your dream to 2-21 August 1990. On 2nd he signed his first pro deal. On 21st he made his debut for Dundee United. Coincidentally 2 August 1990 was when Iraq invaded Kuwait.

The first player we had who was younger than me was David Foy who is two days younger. He only made a couple of sub appearances though. One was away at Torquay s I definitely didn't see that. Then we had Richard Scott and Graham Potter who are both a couple of years younger and both made several appearances.
There are a whole load born between 1968 and 1971 as we were in a terrible state in the late 1980s and basically played a youth side for two seasons

Tempted to give young Amipal a clue, but I wouldn't wish to be a spoilsport...
As for BCE, I know what it means, but simply don't understand why using BC is infra dig? After all, Rajab 6, 1443 on the Ω±ΩΨͺΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩ
Ω±ΩΩΩΩΨ¬ΩΨ±ΩΩΩ or Hijri calendar is in use...
I suspect that I am oldest on either calendar. I remember when a boy from my school in the year above played for WBA - Allan Glover - he was shit hot, but never quite made the grade, but at 18 being signed for Β£69k. As a Centre Half I could only stop him by shoulder charging him, but 9/10 he dumped me...

I vaguely recall having a lot of fun in my 30's plus a lot of stress.
Whereas now it's all fun, so getting "old" is a good thing*.
*for me.

Many moons of Martial Arts training, I started at 28 and 'retired' after 21 years, I am now 55+. I remember when computers were a thing in a lockable school cupboard under the supervision of the 'over watch' teacher.
