Who could have forseen bringing up religion would caused such a stir? Interestingly I would assume the majority of people here are atheist/agnostic, so is religion a factor? I was brought up Evangelical, my mum was Baptist/Methodist and my dad was CofE. I changed to a Shinto/Zen/Daoist blend as a general observance, not too deep but I still believe in an eternal Lord type Deity. |

I was brought up as a "Go to Sunday School so we can have some nookie" kid; I had a brief dalliance with being a rabid evangelical, but was out of that phase once the Rev. felt me up and I twigged what all the groaning in prayer meetings from the teenage girls was about. I suspect that there might be a First Cause, but I certainly don't think that any human codification reflects it, nor does it have any ongoing interest in the human race.
