Morning all,
Caught Adele's acceptance speech. She mentioned that writers should use their own experiences as material. Because this doesn't happen much nowadays.
I hope all the artists took note. This is cutting edge advice.

Morning all!
Changing of the guard at home, as the plasters have been replaced by decorators who, upon looking at the kitchen walls, declared βwe canβt paint on wet plasterβ. They have since identified places where they can indeed make a start, and have also got a fan-heater running to try to dry the rest of it out.
Scaffolders have turned up now. A ladder appeared at the study window, so I have redeployed to a different room. Like shootβnβscoot mobile artillery.
TVblog: Murderville. Finished the series, and thoroughly enjoyed it. Itβs not high-drama, itβs not the best comedy youβve ever seen. But it is 20 minutes of silliness that I for one enjoyed. 4*
Filmblog: Mercury Rising. Bruce Willis and Alex Baldwin in an average 1990s action-thriller. 4*
Dinnerblog: I got a calzone from the local Italian cafe. It was delicious. The cat thought so too, the shit.

This is cutting edge advice. Makes you wonder how Churchill would've written History of English-speaking peoples? Or Arthur c. Clarke 2001 etx. Or David Bowie Space Oddity. Fatuous tart.

Dinnerblog: I got a calzone from the local Italian cafe. It was delicious. The cat thought so too, the shit. I feel like I should further embellish this. The calzone was too big to fit on the dinner plate which Iβve been left with, so I had to cut the calzone in half to fit it on. I went an sat in the study, and tucked into it whilst watching Murderville, leaving the box and the other half back in the bedroom (bare in mind Iβm living out of three rooms). Coming to the end of the first half, I return to the bedroom, only to discover the cat dragging the crunchy roof of the second-half across the floorβ¦ He knew heβd done wrong, as he scampered under the bed as soon as he saw me. I binned that morsel of food, but, reader, I must admit that I finished the rest of it. I will be patient zero for the next coronavirus to plague humanity, based on some form of feline-flu.

Maybe Kurt Zouma was in a similar situation.

I'm not sure being annoyed at Wordle justifies kicking a cat.

A British home must be run with precision.
A British cat requires nothing less.
Order, discipline and rules must be the tools.
Without them: Chaos, disaster, anarchy.
In short you have a ghastly mess.

I was waiting for the cat comparisons.
My pet only got a dishrag thrown at him.
He then took himself off outside for a majority of the evening, and returned ay close to 11pm minus his collar.

Last night I drank some cider, ate a kebab (no sauce) whilst watching 'The Foreigner' and woke up thinking it was Sunday. In essence, almost identical to amipal's evening. The cat had no interest in the kebab whatsoever.
