Wordle 239 3/6 🟩⬛🟨⬛⬛ 🟩⬛⬛🟩⬛ 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩 Pleasant. Yesterday I tried one of the other NYT puzzles, the "Spelling Bee". As soon as you reach a certain number of points it tells you "You're good at this" and asks for a subscription. That's BS. Then today I had a look at the answers and there were some BS words among them. " Untuning"?? Really?? Piss off, NYT. Just because you are holding my Wordle hostage doesn't mean you get away with this kind of bovine manure. www.dictionary.com/browse/untuneverb (used with object), un·tuned, un·tun·ing. to render or cause to become out of tune: Changes in weather can untune a violin. to discompose; upset, as the mind or emotions. Though that said I'm with you Tent, it feels more informed to say detuning within a conversation, untuning feels sloppy.

Dinnerblog: Co-op sweet’n’sour chicken with egg fried rice ready meal. Half the chicken was dry, and the sauce needed some salt. Hopefully the dry half was the cat's share.

I’m currently sat in my car, which is getting its first public charge.
The weather is grotesque, the fast-charger is out of order, and I wasn’t signed up to the service when I arrived. Cue much gnashing of teeth.
I’m here for the next hour.
And I need a wee.

Half an hour to 80% with the 50kw DC fast charger - I’m only going to get to 50% in almost three times that with standard AC.

I had flogged my way through all but two thirds of my chores, stopped for a late lunch; took mybeef casserole out of the microwave and it neatly folded up like a z-bed for stowage. Unfortunately I now have to clean and chuck the kitchen mats into the washing machine, mop clean and dry the kitchen floor without getting my bandaged feet wet*, put cardboard down all over. All while feeling ravenously hungry because I only had half the ready meal... Then I can try and complete the other third of my chores. I am not a happy bunny. *All the bandaging and protective padding which also holds all the crap that discharges from my wordles turns my size 12s into size 16s. Getting on the special gear for them that functions as sandals requires assistance and my mate from next door is out on call for the rest of the day...

More like "Rock bottom of the medal table" We're all in on the curling. True. Last night I watched the lads scrub their path to victory over the Chinese team. I wish they could do my kitchen floor next.
