I've just spent an idle half hour randomly googling people with distinctive names who I used to know at school and university and they all seem to have really interesting and high paid jobs. Not sure if this is because they somehow avoided making the sorts of terrible life choices that I came up with, or just because their distinctive names gave them a natural life advantage. At least it took my mind off the impending apocalypse until the end of breakfast at least. No-one on the internet lies. In all seriousness you might want to check why you are doing this. From personal experience and working with others this might be flagging something. (or not obviously but I'm hapoy to be wrong). I started doing this and it picked up speed and headed into full on "you are worthless" territory pretty quickly. It wasn't pleasant. Hopefully it's not the case with you.
These are wise words, scamander. I don't *think* that is what is happening. I know I am lucky in all sorts of ways. Saying that, though, I just realised I am listening to Radiohead and browsing online for consumer electronics, so it is 100% a midlife crisis.

The PM went to a private school in Edinburgh and couple of times a year gets a school magazine sent. Full of here's what Timothy is doing now stuff. Plus begging for the Alumni to send money. My school has the courts pages and death notices in the local paper so I can keep up with folk from school. Timothy is a cunts name for cunts. I'm sure Shenguin would agree "Language Timothy!" |

hi I watched Sylvester Stallone's director's cut of Rocky IV last night: Rocky IV: Rocky Vs. Drago. It was quite good. Almost a new film. There is one section that's worse. In the original film Rocky gets into a car and razzes off down the road as No Easy Way Out by Robert Tepper plays. It is extremely stirring. In this new version they add lots of flashback footage and seem to remove the first person night highway cam. So it just looks as if Rocky's sitting out in his car listening to the radio. Otherwise, though, £3.49 well spent. |

I met one in 2014 and we talked about Ukraine. He then gave me a World Socialist Website newsletter. Two years later I met a proper Marxist making the socialist case against the E.U. I considered joining, I think, the Communist Party of Britain, a few years back. I fancied the idea of people saying about me ‘He’s a card carrying Communist.’ Then I found out they were anti-E.U. (The Bosses’ E.U. I guess) and that they were likely to expect more from me than just carrying a card.

I need a new laptop for shirking from home, I'll be running photoshop on it, but mainly spreadsheeting and using tinternet. Also for netflix etc. I wouldnt mind being able to games on it but its unlikely to happen. Budget is 500-800 I think. What do 'people' think about this one?
