Still watching cricket. It's the hope that kills you. That last chance from Leach looked out to me but Joe refused to review it. Slow mo replay = out, FFS.
Something something... Jack Leach suckered the batter into playing at that one
Etc etc

Also, Lawrence's 'spin' bowling action is a thing of hypnotic freakish beauty. Like watching a 4 armed Mr Tickle, with someone's else legs attached, trying to swat away a swarm of angry wasps.

amipalI think I can remember having a similar childhood reaction to the Victory. There’s no ‘derring-do’. It’s order, discipline, naval warfare administration. But interesting enough once you’re on it. I have to say that my previous visit to Victory was more impressive. Since then, one of her masts has been removed, and the others have lost their tops. That latter part is because the weight of the masts has slowly been breaking Victory’s keel, so I understand why it has been done. But it’s sad to see her denuded in such a way. Also, the interior seems to have been stripped back, particularly below the gun decks. It used to be a case that you could get a glimpse of the magazine. Not so anymore. But the final thing that sticks in the craw is the presence of a gift shop in the bows. Really cheapens it. I was actually more impressed by the Mary Rose. Last time I saw that, she was immersed in a fine mist to protect her timbers. The process of impregnating her timbers with a plastic is now complete, and you can really appreciate her form.

That was hard work. I just couldn't think of any words, which is a bad thing for this game.
I've been on a Ukraine charity marathon Elden Ring stream since 5 pm. No time to chat.

Wordle 267 2/6* ⬜🟩🟨⬜⬜ 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩 BOING! Magnificat... Games: I am finishing an NP2 game and my erstwhile ally has decided to stab me in the back. The cunt. I should win in the next 4h 🤣🤣🤣 Him: "Had to declare war as you are 9 stars away from winning, I'm sure you understand and lets see how the rest of the game plays out." Me: "You are an idiot. A certifiable dolt. I don't understand and I have no time for your nonsense. I had your back when you went AWOL for a complete cycle. I intensely dislike being betrayed, but above all when it's done so incompetently."

The best ship is the Golden Hinde by London Bridge. Built to last, in 1973. They knew how to build ships back then.

I played Fortnite yesterday morning, with my friend in New Zealand. We won three games, but it was hard going. We were outclassed for the most part. No chutzpah.
Then I watched a football match, then went out to do some shopping. The pm and I stopped for a restorative drink in a pub. We had three more then went to an Ethiopian restaurant. I misunderstood the menu and became insanely full. We went home after that. I drank some digestive spirit and some port, then had the sleep of the just. Of a sort … Of a sort …
All engulfing lethargy.

Yesterday the child and I played Minecraft and that sonic racing game. We previously had a Minecraft realm I had cancelled as we weren't playing.
I was trying to re-anable it as if you do this within 18 months of cancelling your world comes back intact. It's not very clear and I bought two bloody realms and the one we wanted never appeared. I cancelled both but it's £6 I'm not getting back. And they say Souls games are hard.
Later on the PM and I watched the first episode of S2 of upload and then another The Outlaws.
I tried to play cyberpunk later but I was tired. The game was trying to teach me some thing about listening to frequencies and I couldn't seem to cancel the tutorial. I just wanted to do missions and shoot cunts. It was actually sending me to sleep.
