I’ve made it to Ricky Nuts himself. Nearly did him in on the second attempt with some summons. This generally means it will take around another 30 attempts, none coming anywhere near as close as the first two tries.

I watched Picard whilst carrying out this and sundry boring household tasks. Whenever the Star Trek franchise chucks itself down the timey-wimey* rabbit hole it rarely turns out well. The stand out exception to this is Star Trek: First Contact... also some of the best scripting... Cmdr. Deanna Troi:(pissed) It's a primitive culture! I'm just trying to blend in. Cmdr. William Riker: You're blended alright. Cmdr. Deanna Troi:(still pissed) "Timeline? This is no time to talk about time! We don't have the time!... What was I saying?"... But the predisposition of the execs to migrate whole series into time loops (a la Picard, ST: Discovery) will lose proportions of the audience - including me. But Picard has the added nonsense of some of the cast needing zimmer frames. Patrick Stewart is probably still a fine actor, but he is utterly unconvincing as a man capable of command or action. I think it's the first 18 I've had on the daily Quordle, though I've had a few on the practice Quordles, as I have played too many. I think of it as a 6, not an 18. I think it's the absolute minimal plausible score without a ridiculous amount of luck. I haven't seen all of Picard, I couldn't get through the first season, despite an abiding love of Jean-Luc, but I tend to agree with you about timey-wimey shenanigans. |

After the most excellent Friday evening and Saturday, Sunday has had like a slap around the chops. The boy’s behaviour at swimming was awful - didn’t listen to the teacher, played with floats, mucked about… I expect better from him.
Still, I got a sausage sandwich afterwards at the garden centre.

Morning
Spent most of last night exploring stormveil castle. It's superb. Felt more like Demon's. Didn't find Ricky nuts though. Got all the way through the castle, inside out out, down into the cellars, then found a way out into an outside area with loads of soldiers. Put up a good fight for a while but I'd used up most of my flasks inside the castle so eventually died. Am I near Ricky?
OTTM, got a lamb curry simmering away on the hob, be ready in a few hours.

Gods know that I dislike unruly children, and stamp on snotty kids if their fucking about impacts me, or puts themselves at risk, but I would be far more worried if he didn't kick against the pricks*.
