Hi
I’ve just been eating a sort of Ukrainian solidarity bun. It was nice. I just devoured a white chocolate Ukrainian flag.
I also saw some Ukraine solidarity protests, outside the Russian Embassy, and had a nose through the gate of Roman Abramovich’s house.
Quiet day otherwise.

I just saw an advert for a phone that allows you to erase people from the photos you’ve got saved.
Russia didn’t need to go to war. The USSR already won.

Hello. I'm once again in a rush and haven't read all *this* because the weekly Sunday stream of Trails in the Sky is an hour early due to US Daylight Stealing Time. I only found out about that half an hour before the stream started.
So here are my -le scores
Wordle 267 4/6*
⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛ ⬛🟩🟨🟨⬛ ⬛🟩⬛🟩🟩 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩
Daily Quordle #48 3️⃣4️⃣ 7️⃣5️⃣ quordle.com ⬜🟩🟩🟨⬜ 🟨🟩🟩⬜⬜ 🟨⬜⬜⬜🟨 🟨⬜⬜⬜🟨 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩 🟩🟩🟩⬜⬜ ⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛ 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩

Would have matched Shenguin's score as well if it hadn't been for a silly guess in the lower left.
Back tomorrow.

Yes. A long time ago. I've protested against in no particular order Thatcher™, Poll Tax, Apartheid, The Criminal Justice bill (*ahem* part 63(1)(b) ), etc etc. I've been on strike. A couple of times. But playing at hunger strike when other options are available is bollocks. Just to be clear, I 'liked' the use of the word bollocks.
I was on strike once, for PCS, I fancied a day off for gaming purposes.

I've been on strike loads of times. Got my own brazier and donkey jacket to really stick it to The Man in style.

I went on strike once (student sit-in, about the Polytechnic's Chancellor-elect was also the Chancellor of University of Rhodesia who shopped a Librarian to Smith's Intelligence service).
I tried to organize a strike at Loughton's ABC bakery because we were only 4 out of 11 staff - the shop steward turned up and instead of backing me, took off his coat and worked the shift - the cunt... I ended up working 5h without a break front of oven and getting a serious burn.
I was also the HSE Convenor for NALGO for Waltham Forest who closed the Central Library - I wasn't popular with my boss the Chief Librarian!

I went on strike once but then found out the union rep expected us to answer emails came in when we were on strike. It made no sense. I joined a different union.

I just bashed up Big Boss #2, Tricky Ricky. Yeah! As Felice said, not as nails as Margate, but maybe cos I'm now much more buff (kisses bicep). Now for some 'relaxing' exploring, collecting and farming.
*mild spoiler* . . . . . . . . . The Ricky mid scrap interval is something to BEHOLD!

I just bashed up Big Boss Much more effective than all that striking nonsense. Just stab the cunt and seize the means of production.

Beat *this* with a wooden spoon til it’s smooth and runny.
Not sure about the addition of cold water to that batter. Full lardy milk all the way. Use a balloon whisk instead of spoon, that’s basic.

I definitely think the cold water makes it. Plus the resting of the batter. I have used similar recipes using only milk. The resultant steam from the added water definitely helps the rise. Try it. I think you'll be surprised. Andy's mam knows.

I have 8 new pudding tins to break in and was planning a some crème caramels tomorrow, but could spare a couple for a batter-off. Agree with the resting. 30 mins minimum.a
