I’m still in Bournemouth.
I went to Mega Kebab last night (I think that’s what it was called).
I don’t really like kebabs so I ordered a dish I last had in Aviemore: Chips with curry sauce and cheese. I thought it was Scottish but maybe it’s a global food. It was ok. Not piping hot if I’m honest with you.
I just had breakfast. It’s nice that the Premier Inn has crumpets available for toasting.
A touch of class.

Unfortunately for all concerned, I'm not dead yet. Still got a hacking cough like a 40 per day Capstan Full strength smoker. And weirdly, jelly legs if I walk upstairs, but other than that I think I might have nearly got covid done. Just the eldest with it now, but other than a temperature and a few sneezes she's basically fine - damn you younglings and your fit and healthy ways! Weirdly, after the youngest had it a month ago, we've now all had it except the PM. Maybe she is a lizard person.
No games all week.
Cricket? Looks like the knives are out for Roots captaincy. For always saying in interviews "The group this.."... "the group that.."... removing the captaincy is too good, he should be bludgeoned with a thousand Duke balls.
OTTM, sorry to hear about Amipal, he was a good egg. At least he had a decent innings *removes hat and bows head*

I think the Colour Phi Phenomenon is quite interesting. It suggests that the perception of events in time is synthesised in the mind and then delivered up to the conscious experience. Maybe … if the the mind does that over a couple of seconds it also does it … over the entire span of your life? |
