Hello! A pissed young man came up to me in a street yesterday to ask where the nearest Wetherspoons was. I guess I must have that look - a Wetherspoons kind of guy. Also, how did he not know where it was already, if he was capable of getting pissed by 10 in the morning? Had he just arrived from out of town on an inter-city Wetherspoons pub tour? hello
I got home and carried out the second half of the making of a curry. Then I watched two episodes of 'Masterchef' and ruminated on life issues. I called my dad then watched two episodes of 'Nathan For You'. I texted my dad to tell him how funny I thought it was and he replied with a very abrupt message indicating he didn't like it.
I fell asleep after the second episode and had a waking nightmare about night-gaunts outside the window.
I then went to bed...

I want to go up to the local expensive coffee shop and get coffee / sandwich. But the PM and child are here. It would be a £30 trip if they were involved. So fuck that.
I was supposed to be going into the office today but my line manager told me to stay at home rest of the week. Despite the negative covid test.
I've now got a slightly sore throat as I said the phrase negative covid test three times in a mirror.
