A group of us once blagged a 2-nighter in Barcelona for 'work' purposes, to prove to the boss that it was cheaper than fly there and book a cheap hotel and conference room, that it was to book an overnighter in London.
We succeeded, but i've never been so hungover in an office before. I think we rolled in at about 5:30am, and were in meetings by 9.
Trying to get the 2000 Euro bar bill past the bean-counters was a team-building exercise in itself.

I also had a couple of Fortnite Duo wins last night, but I didn't dress as a Christmas Tree or make a video of it.

I've been to Venice. It was too expensive to stay there, so stayed somewhere on the mainland. Mestre it may have been called. There was a pub that put chips on pizza. They also had one of those toilets that's just a hole in the ground. Not great for a hangover shit I stayed somewhere like that - at a camp site on the mainland. We were in a kind of damp Portacabin. It was maybe the worst place I've ever stayed, but very atmospheric.

Just bought my nephew the 8 bit-do pro 2 controller for his switch. It's his birthday next week. It has two programmable paddles you can map keys & combos to. Fortnitetastic.

I also had a couple of Fortnite Duo wins last night, but I didn't dress as a Christmas Tree or make a video of it. To be fair, I'm still driving around Mexico in a Gingerbread Man outfit. I'm not ashamed of this.
I checked out my stats on FH5, apparently I've been playing it for 170 hours. I need to up my game.

So pizza for lunch? Only question is folded or unfolded? The problem with folding pizza - one of the problems - is that taste is made up in large part from smell, and the folding of the pizza conceals the smell, making it a less flavoursome experience overall.

Paris and now Venice. Do you take a young admin assistant with you when you go? I'm not judging. Try Florence next. Ah Florence. One day I’ll go back, if only to track down the shop where I had an amazing sandwich that I still think about to this day. Oh god, I’m so hungry. I'm pretty sure Pret still have shops on the high street?

I don't know why I've never been to Italy. Italian food is probably my most favourite food. I love coffee and red wine. The "oh it's expensive" chat over the years has probably put me off. Should sort it out. A week in Rome, few days over Rimini way, then a month chilling in a villa at Lake Garda. *Furiously buys scratch cards* DO IT! Italy is fantastic. Rome, Florence, Venice are properly amazing. I want to go to Milan, Bologna Ravenna, Naples and Sicily. Rome is overwhelming. You've got all the ancient stuff, There's loads of it. Then there is St Peter's and the Vatican. The Vatican museum is out of this world. There is a load of other stuff. I wanted to go to the Villa Borghese and some more modern stuff. I was overruled on the reasonable grounds we were too knackered. There's all sorts of other places the Pantheon The Trevi Fountain, the catacombs. I've always wanted to go back there. So much more to see. We barely touched the modern city centre. There's some proper rough bits as well. Tenement buildings near the station that would warm the cold dead heart of a Glaswegian.

Places I was paid to go to (for work): Philadelphia, Washington DC, St Louis, Minneapolis, Mankato, Morgantown WV, Dublin, Limerick, Sligo, Kilkeel, Belfast, Edinburgh, Inverness, Newcastle, Troon, Bangor, Cardiff, Altrincham*, Leicester*, Keighley*, Tingley*, Halifax*, Solihull*, Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, Zwolle, Rotterdam, Amsterdam, Hamburg, Stockholm, Bangalore... and a massive number of places South of Birmingham ... I've probably forgotten a few.
*All starred places I lived in for more than a month - place I would happily have moved to? Altrincham, Leicester, Amsterdam. I grew to hate having to travel to the USA... most of these trips to places involved seeing the inside of hotels, offices and airports, business centres being largely soulless enclaves like Bluebell (Unisys HQ - a grim place).
Treatment soon... *shiver*

I would like to go to Turin.
Venice is nice.
Florence I'm not sure about. My main memory is of, at the age of 14, running through the city, trying to find a public toilet. Only to find a hole in the ground. No thanks.

Only to find a hole in the ground. No thanks. Go to the toilet before visiting the Duomo. The Uffizi has toilets. Don't use the basement of San Lorenzo. Even if you are pretty desperate.
