Venice
This place is a fucking labyrinth. Walked for about 4 hours today and gained numerous blisters, but pretty sure I was just going in circles in the same bit. Fortunately my trip is work related so I can happily spend the rest of my visit dozing at the back of a room and getting all my meals for free.

I've made plenty of wrong choices obviously. Furthest I ever got was Southampton.
Morning! Sunny out.
Games. Did a little racing in GTA as it was on triple points and I managed to bump myself to a level 300. Not that high in the scheme of things tbh.
TV. Some thing on Prime about a female comedian in Vegas. Supposed to be a comedy. Not *that* funny but entertaining enough.
Entertaining the child today and an Asda delivery. Hoping for a negative lat flow as it's day 9 in the big brother house.

Morning all! I am in the office today. DAMNATION. Workblog: the most exciting place I’ve been as part of my work was Southend-on-Sea, and RollingEscargot gets Venice… where’s the justice? TVblog: Schitts Creek. Camerablog: a 20 and a very surprising 15 in the last open PDI competition of the year. That’s puts me in fourth place behind a joint-second. |

They're called Pizzas. Surely you'd had one before? Focaccia, fresh mozzarella, rocket (I think) and hot, thick porchetta. The most beautiful sandwich I’ve ever eaten, and every sandwich since has been a bitter disappointment. Much like my life. |

I don't know why I've never been to Italy. Italian food is probably my most favourite food. I love coffee and red wine. The "oh it's expensive" chat over the years has probably put me off.
Should sort it out. A week in Rome, few days over Rimini way, then a month chilling in a villa at Lake Garda.

On the train again, I always try to sit as close to the first class section as I can (but still facing forwards) since I feel it lends an air of class to the journey. I'd also like to bring up that I have recently moved back to having a 5 (2-3) digit postcode. High class all round.

I've been to Venice. It was too expensive to stay there, so stayed somewhere on the mainland. Mestre it may have been called. There was a pub that put chips on pizza. They also had one of those toilets that's just a hole in the ground. Not great for a hangover shit
