Also RE3 and RE7. Though 7 is a bit more complicated as if you have the Playstation Hits version downloaded for PS5 it is not free. You need the original PS4 version. I mentioned this the other day. |

Went to see two separate pals after work tonight. Pal 1 was telling me about his kids sweet HOTAS setup for MS flight sim.
Pal 2 sorted me out with a couple of bags of chews but then he got a work call out so not much of a chat.
I'm on a bus home as Scotrail are still on temp timetables. No proper bam action at the bus stop, though one did tell me to cheer up & turn my frown upside down. The junkie looking wank.

FUCKING YES god damn I've advocated for this song for 30 years but almost no one has ever heard of it. It's the best leftfield indie dance song of all time (FIGHT ME), except every contemporary NME reading fucker was too busy at the time stroking their chins over Flowered Up. Flowered up! FFS. There's a lot of northern indie disco of that era thats not worth half a wank but that song's a jewel mate good call |

Elephant fayre… late 80s. 5 days in a Cornish field. Had to hitchhike the last 20 miles as no trains beyond Plymouth. Was meant to meet a mate who had an ‘army tent’. Didn’t find him til day 3, by which point he was so freaked out I ended up crashing with some kindly randoms I’d met hitching who liked to serve LSD for breakfast. Wahey!
Pissed down all 5 days, and I ended up with trench foot and constipated.
Surreal experience on about day 4, when Sun Ra played, and out of nowhere the sun came out and lit up the stage. Double rainbow …. The works. As soon as they finished the set the rain started again. Spooky as fuck.
Never been to Glastonbury… even in the 80s it seemed too much of a commercial event despite pulling in the big acts. I’ve always preferred the more independent events where things have been free-spirited. YMMV.

The feeling you get when you're moving ones Bud from the larder* to the Fridge, you normally pick up 4 but this time you pick up 5 and you drop one and it breaks and spreads glass and very mild tasting alcohol over the floor. That's how I feel now. Esp. since Pref.Mam. is at the gym and won't be back until 9, I feel like I'm in a sitcom. So, burn the place down? *or wherever the beer** is kept **yeah, yeah it's not a beer. Just catching up on the last couple of hour or so of the blog. I love you Felice, and don't want anything bad to happen to you, but if by now you haven't choked on your own vomit, fallen unconscious in a position that cuts your blood flow from at least one major limb for several hours, AND jumped off the roof believing you can fly, then you are a major disappointment. |
