Christ it's hot out. My sister and nephew have been over. Off to the chippy for dinner.

It was going to post " Heat Wave" by the wonderful and very underrated Ethel Merman. Edit: It's 29c in the shoebox and 33c outside. Legs are a trial with 4 layers of dressings in this heat.

I'm assuming your sitting with your knees tucked up under your chin in the chilled section of the co-op. Their going to notice that your there you know. As a self appointed grammar nazi I Must Resist. With points awarded for content and points deducted for bad grammar I'd do some hand wringing for being allowed a lower * rating of say 4

Too hot. Sunburned. Probably shouldn't have cut the hedge in 31°. Oh well soon be cold and dark.

I have spent most of the afternoon researching my response to someone's YouTube comment.
Must. Not. Get. Triggered.

I have spent most of the afternoon researching my response to someone's YouTube comment. Must. Not. Get. Triggered. Sometimes it's difficult not to be triggered. But it is possible to keep your cool and ignore wrongness. For example, in order to make a slightly rubbish joke, I earlier ignored "self appointed", which should be "self-appointed". It's not eating me up with angst and anger in the slightest. I have pretty much entirely forgotten about it.

Watching John Carpenter's The Fog on Legend. A classic.

Watching John Carpenter's The Fog on Legend. A classic. It is frightening. I think it’s maybe still a bit frightening. I’m ok now, but … the hour between twelve and one belongs to the dead. I’m not sure how I’ll cope then.

Got a good PUBG win with my bro.
Still horribly hot and sticky. Maybe the takeaway Chicken Madras wasn't a great idea.
I long for a cool night.

Telly:
Knives Out. It's a film, it was good.
Killing It. It's a comedy but one of those modern ones without many lolz, it is very good.
Under the Banner of Heaven. It's about Mormons moidering each other and Spiderman sorting it all out. Between this and those 2 South Park episodes, I now know loads about Mormons.
12 stars in total, evenly split.

I’m not sure how I’ll cope then. I remember years ago my dad watching it and being totally shit up. He went through to get ready for bed and put the bedside lamp on, threw the duvet over the bed as he was going to lay out clothes for the morning. Opens the wardrobe. There was a massive shadow on the wall with what he assumed was some creature or Satan himself. The cat has been asleep on the bed when he threw the duvet over it in the dark. Totally shat it.

I’m not sure how I’ll cope then. Even better; it's followed by Joe Dante's The Howling. Everything's coming up Tuffers.

We lived by the sea when I saw it. The thought of waking up to hear a knocking on the front door terrified me. Also the thought of this fog getting in through the windows. I’d go round checking them before I went to bed. I began praying fervently. Not sure when this stopped.

It would appear i've never seen The Howling; an omission I'm in the process of correcting.
