And the nurses have bloody well postponed treatment until tomorrow morning... unbelievable... To recap... On Thursday they split the treatment so that I had to be up and prepared for tests at 8 a.m. and dressings guaranteed first thing this morning. The guy turns up late at 11.30 a.m. after he's toggled up, water ready and just as he is about to cut open the dressings his phone rings and the charge nurse (I can hear her) says you need to go immediately to Mr X; I'll do Mr Chumbles... He fucks off telling me she's in the office maximum 20 mins away. I top up the morphine ready and by 1 pm I call their office. Said nurse has two more visits... more morphine. I get a call from some poor girl who knows none of this and says we have to reschedule as Florence Nightingale has been held up... would tomorrow be OK... That has completely fucked my weekend. I so wish I could drink something alcoholic! At least it allowed me to finish my latest NP2 game... |

MrTiddlesConfusingly, VW’s ID.3 range have different power ratings explained as such: Pure Performance - 148hp Pro Performance -205hp Not sure why they suffixed “Performance” on the first… it’ll still get off the line sharpish, mind, as all EVs do. I don’t think the Pure is available anymore, at least not in the UK.

Thanks amipal , crankcaller . They're aware-ish, but they are down to 1/3 staffing in the Chumblesbury area and half of those are new i.e. they have started in the last 3 months. My treatment is complex and currently made all the more difficult because of podiatry inadequacies leading to ingrown toenails and some bloody painful corns. And they too suffer from what Amos Burton would call The Churn. The town's District Nurse team loses staff to neighbouring town's teams, surgeries, pregnancy, career changes etc more frequently than any other in Fucks County, because they have been under relentless pressure since before 2013. Not a single person remains in the team from 2 years ago. My major gripe about this weekend's fiasco is that it not only could have been avoided, but that I was left having to be prepared for their imminent arrival so that I couldn't do anything sensible with my time or even eat (treatment is painful enough to make me sick). Ho hum. |

I've had them both before, so I went for Guinness.

Good evening. Today I decided to sack off Elden Ring and give Horizon Forbidden West a go instead. It's good, but I can't see how the story will be as enjoyable as the first one. It seems to be just a generic big quest to find a thing. Still, you do get to punch robot dinosaurs to death, so there is that.

I fell asleep this afternoon. I had a dream where I was a POW in Burma, but, 'Escape to Victory' style a group of us were invited to do some wrestling in Japan. Well, all of us, semi-professional athletes, decided to smuggle heroin in our jockstraps. We disguised the smack as chocolate bars. Never got caught.
I suspect my subconscious is having a better time than me.
