Morning twiglets!
On the trains again. The Dakyl protocol nearly failed as I got out of bed an hour later than planned but I’ve still entrained with two breakfasts and 2 (two) coffees. Top banana.
Watched some of that Lord of the Rings on yesterday. I think they owe the Elden ring people some big glowing tree royalty money. It’s pretty good, there’s a bit where a dragon fucks up a giant eagle thing and then it catches on fire.
Games - farcry 6. Somewhat moribund. I keep getting shot.

Morning all!
Well, Wrath of Khan was as excellent as expected on the big screen. That soundtrack… wallop! Rousing.
Definitely the best Star Trek film. Brilliantly directed, with great performances from all, but Shatner and Montalban in particular.
There were some extra bits which had been cut from the original release. Nice to see, but they didn’t particularly add anything to the story.
TVblog: nuthin’.
Carblog: driving through Brighton late at night is always fun. Had two lads walk diagonally off the pavement and almost into me as I was driving towards them at ~20mph. Didn’t help that they were both looking at their phones.
Then closer to home, three lads ran over the road to jump in a mate’s car, again with me bearing down on them. Fucking idiots.

Must be nice to have interesting neighbors. One side of me is an old Victorian school house that now houses the local history museum, open 2 afternoon's a week during the summer.The other side I wouldn't recognise him if I fell over him in the street. Opposite I have a high stone wall. The most exciting thing that happens is the museum's alarm goes off in there's a power blip or power cut. Stops after ten mins. I found myself reading this in the voice of Marvin the paranoid robot. |
