The stuff falling from the sky has made its way here, nothing in the garden is alive enough after the summer to need a chop. I know why I was out walking along the canal at half nine this morning but why we're all the other people? They didn't even have small people to keep happy, madness.

We're home. It's sunny in South Glasgow. I'm out picking up leaves from the garden.
Making risotto for dinner. Some Spiderman:MM later.

Yesterday was eldest daughters 15th birthday. Spent a sweaty couple of hours in the 'I'm a celebrity' branded indoor assault course in Salford (watching not participating), followed by a delicious, but eye-wateringly expensive meal at Fazenda in Manchester.
TV - caught up with some Masterchef, then watched some elf & troll thing on Prime. Beautifully shot, shows promise, but a bit slow. Four stars.
Games - finished Ghost of Tsushima last night. Great game - never got bored of the delightful stabbiness, but I reckon I've probably had enough for now, the gameplay was getting a touch repetitive by the end. Not sure I'll bother with the DLC for a bit.

Do you lot just guess at the weather rather than actually checking? Idiots. It's not raining.

I'm with Vodafone who have been fine. Probably moving to Plusnet in Oct though as Vodafone no-doubt will want too much money to keep us.
Trying to avoid falling for TalkTalk giving me 120Meg for £28.
Don't do it crank, it's a trap.

I spent a lot of my weekends going to games conventions, and the occasional SF convention. So the fan bits of Galaxy Quest ring so true; my BF and I used to watch this when our partners had gone to bed (exhausted from wrecking Gloucester's shops and the evening's 4 player games), reminiscing about the shenanigans and dupes we had perpetrated on the Diplomacy PBM hobby and each other...

I wonder what happened to that idea.
