Evenin' drones
Today I did a bit of chopping shit down in the garden, like a tough guy. Then went to visit a pal as he wanted to have a look at the SteamDeck. He's got the new TLOU, so got to see that, looks tremendous, but still, that price.
I left, 4 beers later, with the SteamDeck in the hands of his 12yr old lad and me knowing I'll never see it working again.
Now drinking more beer, to cancel out the imbalance caused by faceless. Was watching The Hundred cricket but had to turn over. Is the crowd holding up their phones with the lights on the wankest thing ever? or am I just a miserable old git? It got on my nerves more than it should.
Might re-watch the two LOTR episodes again instead.

I don’t think I’ve ever *really* liked any on-screen depiction of the Lord of the Rings. I don’t like the elves. And I don’t like the hobbits. And I don’t like the orcs.
I did like the books.
The only time I really liked a Lord of the Rings film was when I was off my mash on ecstacy pipes and King Theoden took five minutes to take out his sword.

Why do footballers perform secrecy by covering their mouths with their hands when they are talking to each other on the field before executing a set piece? Are they exchanging PIN numbers? Has the PFA disclosed the secrets of the pyramids to its members for circulation on a need to know basis?

We had Jeff Stellings Saturday super star soccer special super scores on this afters. I'm pretty sure Jeff made a comment about one of the players previously discussed on here, a blues player, maybe scotch, anyway he smashed the shit out of the onion bag today, Cosgrove his name I think. Or I may have dreamt the whole thing. Cosgrove scored twice on his debut for Plymouth. This is two more goals than he has managed for Birmingham. On the plus side I took my dad to Preston. Scenes. We had not scored away from home and they had not conceded a goal at home. I had never seen us win at Deepdale in 6 previous visits. We did win there in the pandemic, with no fans. We are also rubbish so I was not overly hopeful. Obviously we won 1-0 |

I guess he's still good at his job now. I like his programme, although it's stale now, or maybe I am. It's just those betting adverts make me want to puke. Preying on the addicts 10 times an hour.
