Second culling, because something wonderful helps hold back the dark. Lucky little boy!

Was all the animal murder chat just about pets or local wildlife as well? Also there seems to have been no 'the lad' stories for a little while, which was the chosen method of dispatch?

I killed a mouse at the insistence of my partner; chasing it around our flat wasn't fun, and I didn't enjoy the terrified little beastie's eyes staring at me whilst it disappeared down the loo. My pity was a little tempered by the surprisingly large quantities of pellets it dropped on my hands and the floor.
I was all for chucking it into the street to take its chances with the neighbourhood cats, but the then missus insisted on the death sentence. As our landlord (who had the downstairs flat) had a racing pigeon loft in the garden, I was certain that the poor little blighter had lots of family within 10' of us, but if I'd told herself that we would have been moving and reasonably priced flats were damned hard to find.
Anyway, enough prevarication, back to choresing.

Jedward has called for the abolishment of the Monarchy, the replies to this are as reasonable as one can expect.

There is a dead seagull outside the lad's flat. It's just a load of wings, feathers and legs. I don't know where the rest of it is.
He will freak out when he sees it. Should be entertaining.

My kill count is pretty low. I had to mercy kill a gerbil once. I've also accidentally hit the odd pheasant with the car

I hit a hare once on beachy head, or rather, he decided to sprint across the road in front of my Mk1 Granada. I dutifully stopped and examined the deceased. Eyeballs bulging pretty much out of the sockets and an impressively long trail of intestines. Car was OK though.
Beware, Mr Hare, it is not a toy.

With students and lockdowns mice appeared and were dispatched. Empty houses were warmer than outside it seems. Snap traps going off on the night is confusing, Red kite had a few free meals that way. Kites can just take the body of birds leaving wings and bits behind. Pigeons make a funny noise on the car when you hit them, the spinning off after is confusing.

I have got the tropical fish tank setup with some Harlequins. We have loads of testing kits and assorted potions to keep the thing habitable for fish.

I did briefly entertain the thought of nailing it to Tootsie's door, Voodoo style, but there are cameras all over the place now.

I'm watching the BBC coverage of the convoy heading down the A90 towards Dundee. Strong OJ car chase vibes.
