Just did a webchat with Vodafone to renew our Broadband. On the phone last week they said it would be £22 a month. By procrastinating it's now £20 a month!
£48 saved.
It's all going to go horribly wrong and I've signed up for 128kbps ISDN haven't I?

Bloke opposite me just got an Audi e-tron a week or so ago. He'd had it on order for a year nearly he said. I mocked him (behind his back) at his hippy milk float. Then I heard the noise it makes when 'driving'. Holy shit, like a sci fi film. Well Jell. First thing he, wisely, did, was install those security poles that pop out of the ground across his drive. He also has a giant plug socket attached to the front of his house. Nerd. Tldr: Greta hates the bloke opposite due to the amount of coal burning needed to fire up his sci-fi car. Audi e-Tron eh? The big chunky SUV one, or the sporty GT? I’d be very surprised if he was burning substantial amounts of coal for it, mind. Only 1.8% of UK energy production came from coal in 2020. The chunky one. |

The chunky one. Oof. He should have gone for the Q4. At least that’s a from-the-ground-up EV design. He’ll be paying as much in electricity as he would in diesel for similar for that thing. |

I'm playing Metro Exodus. There's a level with giant spiders but you can't reload without turning off your cigarette lighter ( needed as it's pitch black) and some of those giant bastards need two whole clips unloading into them.
Some tense moments screaming at spiders.
