Morning all!
Half-term progresses… yesterday, I took the boy swimming. Actual, fun swimming, rather than his weekly lessons.
There was very little actual swimming, but lots of jumping and splashing. He thoroughly enjoyed himself.
It was the same pool I used to go to with my mum and dad, so some good memories there.
Now to work out what to do with him today…

I only just made my train this morning, as the train I get to get the train was delayed, and I had to get a different train to get my train. In the end I had to rip up the Dakyl protocol and just buy a canned coffee, and forgot to buy lunch. TB

Games - Terry! Tell me about the games. All the games. I've been on Mount and Blade 2, which is undoubtedly the shonkiest game on PS5 by a mile. Didn't get far but I'm now on the tale of some bandits, and had a disastrous first attempt at using a lance from a horse.
Also Vicky 3, wherein I am the state of Sweden. Over a year of ingame time and I have yet to crash the economy. Take that Liz. I've been exporting artillery to the dutch, and issuing decrees to decrease the price of iron. TB

I refused the flu jab last year and just took the covid booster as they were offering them at the same time. I may rethink that policy this winter.

I (and Destry, as I recall) had both at the same time and, although it bruised my arm, it wasn't that bad. As you aren't going to drive anywhere and you have a little flu magnet who will be attending the flu incubator, in your shoes i would definitely have it. And given what else you plug in to, you wuss, ya big jessie, I'm amazed that you don't Ozymandias Kane: do fuck off. Cricket: As soon as I heard that they had decided to bowl short at a bunch of gaelic bashers, who grew up smashing balls into the distance with a shinty stick, I knew England would be expressing themselves and went back to sleep. Very annoying, but I honestly thought that Bairstow's excellence this Summer had given the pundits delusions of adequacy. |
