Not to mention skint. Brighton is an expensive place to go boozing It always has been; I used to find the pubs back from the seafront the best to go to with my Brighton friends, like the Shakespeare's Head, mainly to booze and play darts; I'm told it's a gastropub nowadays. |

Cities in Flight
I know that there isn't much chance that any of you will want to play in this; the likely takers like @shenguinare too busy even for a single move a day, sandybahookie might give it a go, but outside of that, limni and doctoralimantado are moribund... Anyway, if you do want to try a game let me know and I will set up a 'box game. Here's a fast developing turn based NP2, 11 player, Dark Galaxy NP2 game, with a lot of the characteristics of the games that I normally put up. You start with 2 stars (of which one is a 30 30 4 home star) each of which has 100 ships. np.ironhelmet.com/game/574625524403404824 hours a move with 6 tick jumps; Production is every 16 ticks, so Production is speedy - Banking is set to 16 so cash is plentiful. You can sleep normally for once! Especially as this is more leisurely than the last game. The name of the game is taken from James Blish's excellent Cities in Flight four-volume series of science fiction novels and short stories originally published between 1950 and 1962 |
