I've not put down my top 5 TV chefs as I'm still recovering from someone putting Ainsley Harriot down. Harriott is an archetype. A cultural icon. It was a tough call, but in the end that's what edged him ahead of the annoying wee prick with the moustache off Ready Steady Cook whose name i don't know.

Being a bedbug (bedbound) means no fecker believes it necessary to call in advance or make an appointment. The last guy was an OT carrying out an assessment that may well give me extra support etc.; so I am glad I was polite. But the lunchtime carer is due in 20m... so that there is no time to do ought else, except admire the lights the OT left blazing away... You need to absolutely play up all your problems when they are assessing you. No stoical coping or you won't get extra help. How long are you stuck in bed for? I'm surprised they have sent you home if you aren't mobile. These days you are kicked out as soon as you are free of infections. The problem is that the pressure to free up beds is colossal and the staff arranging discharge are not above lying. "Yes, Mr Chumbles is self-administering his insulin..." Whereas I'd never done so, I had none of the equipment necessary to do so and hadn't a clue. I now have all the needles etc and await my first lesson at 5 pm. 4 days after discharge.

I have come to a realisation
You know those clichés in films and telly where a bloke finds himself single and living alone, and lets the house become a complete fucking pigsty. Mess everywhere, nothing in the kitchen but booze, etc
Well yeah. That's me

In other news; I've got a cold and the Pref.Mam. is out on a Xmas do and since my blood tests came back saying my liver and kidneys are fine I've had a couple of glasses of Port for a cure.

There's a difference between cliches and accurate portrayal. After a can or two and/or a bottle the pit of despair will look pretty tidy. Well not tidy, but ok. The sophisticated pad of a sophisticated man. If by sophisticated you mean crash pad for a drunk.
Just try not to go full Chumbles, yet.

It's going to take me a while to memorize that lot correctly. "...try not to go full Chumbles, yet." Oddly enough, being disabled makes you very OCD, as finding stuff is the pits, when you have limited mobility... I am so very very tired...

I mean you cant expect to be King of England if you just sit down and take a public battering off your younger whiny brother. And that's another reason why Sheeps will never be King of England, the silly cunt.

There is likely to be something to remember the 4 children from Kingshurst tomorrow. A minute's silence or applause. Possibly a Dancing on (Thin) Ice display
Something appropriately sad no doubt.

What? Kingshurst is a Blues area. Judging by the blue balloons and blue and white flowers some of the families at least are Blues fans. I'm sure the club will organise something appropriate. They were very good when the little kid from Solihull was killed.
