I was just about to play some music though a Bluetooth speaker, from my phone, when I saw a media player on my phone lock-screen labelled ‘GGB-Chatterbox’.
I could not resist. I pressed ‘play’ and turned up the volume. It was an American voice chuntering about the moon. For a second I thought perhaps the ‘box had become sentient, or maybe some Large Language Model chatbot had got onto box content as a data-set.
Not so. It was just Buzz Aldrin…

During an argument about 5 months ago I couldn't remember the child's teachers name - and when pressurised in the heat of the fight, gave the previous teachers name. I then obviously memorised it and have it as a backup on my phone.
Last night when energised in a state of euphoria it was brought up again - and due to said state of euphoria I panicked - as despite my Derren Brown feat of memory in remembering one person's name, I couldn't recall it at that point in time. Luckily it wasn't dwelled upon and the question wasn't asked.
I now need to move on and bring up sportscene or MOTD or whatever they show Footy highlights on to play the game of pin the tail on the sheep.

I have seen myself on TV now. I would prefer jot to. Usually being in row 31 is sufficiently far back.
Shenguin was next to me, but he is not looking at the camera.
It was as bad as last time. I was at VP in row 4. We conceded 2 goals in 3 minutes. There was a shot which focussed on me while the commentators discussed how pissed off the Blues fans looked.
It's a risk of going to football. At least I wasn't doing anything horrifically awful.

I sympathize - I used to be passable looking, but I now look pretty horrible, courtesy of continued mistreatments and repeated visits to ICU / A&E. I have a microphone and camera, but I am too tired to carry a normal conversation (and completely out of practice). |

Afternoon all!
The boy and I went for a traipse over the Tye and down the the beach this afternoon. Lots of shell-hunting and general jumping off of things. Good times.
He’s know say in front of Chicken Run whilst I cook dinner.
TVblog: DS9, Arrested Development, and Lockwood & Co. Really enjoying the latter.
PMblog: she decided a while back that the chimney breast in the dining room was too big of a single slab of paint colour, and that it should be wallpapered.
She took on this idea on her own, not really wanting to listen to my advice (she may be ever-so-slightly stubborn). One thing that she did listen too was that the satin paint covering the wall had to be roughed-up or removed so that the paper wouldn’t slips
What she didn’t do was look up how to hang wallpaper on a sanded and plastered wall…
And so it comes to pass that I idly search for tips on the above, and it says that the wall should be given a mist coat.
And that’s all my fault, apparently. 👍

Today I went for a nice longish walk.
Then I picked up my new Barbour wax coat. It's a cracker. I feel I now need a shotgun, a pair of tweed breeks and a flat cap.
Pizza hut takeaway to be ordered shortly.

Morning unidentified terrestrial phenomena!
Games - Metroid Prime HD. It’s a looker and still a top game. Also started the octopus travelodge 2 demo, top banana. Tent will be lost to the world for aeons.

Although I could warm it up I suppose. I've tried Papa John's and it is nice, but Pizza Hut is the king of pizza for me. Original and best and a name you can trust. |

Original and best and a name you can trust. I have good memories of Pizza Hut, but then I got a takeaway pizza from there and it wasn’t the same as I remembered. I’ve since been to the ‘All you can eat’ buffet lunch offer and it’s been pretty similar, but … it wasn’t the same ... I should go and have a deep-pan pizza for two with a bottle of wine. In the evening, with a shirt. I do still believe. I do still trust. |
