I was in a shop today. I asked the character behind the counter if they had any blank greeting cards. Like cards you could add your own design to … This character seemed friendly enough. They said they had no cards but I could go to another named shop, buy some card and fold it in half. When I left the shop I heard them say ‘Didn’t know how to fold a card?’ … I forgave them because I’ve got a big heart (Richard from ‘Dead Man’s Shoes’ photo).No it’s clear I didn’t forgive them. It winds me up a bit. Rude. A folded piece of card will topically give you an A5 or A6 size gift card. Envelopes for which are few and far between. Thanks for listening. What a tosspot*. I love watching the games on Sky (I think tonight's is also on ITV) on a Sunday night, but I far from understand all the more complex technicalities of the rules and the 'plays'. For what it's worth, I'm cheering on the Eagles, just so I have a team to root for. The chiefs have the best QB, I do know that (from watching telly and listening to the experts). |
