Did your dog get an operation for his wonky back legs scubar ? He did, yes. He was diagnosed with something called IVDD, where basically his spinal discs have deteriorated and got filled with crud and made his back legs not work. Needed an MRI and surgery, and now 4-6 weeks of strict crate rest (when he’s never been crate trained and is hating it) and several months of physiotherapy. If you have pets, check their insurance and level of cover. |

I want to talk about Stanley Tucci.
He seems like a nice person but … I keep seeing these articles that talk about how charismatic and talented and charming he is. I’ve seen some of his food show and the content is moribund. His delivery is wack.
I feel mean spirited saying it.
I don’t harbour any ill-will towards him. It just makes me feel unmoored from the perceptions of my fellow human beings.

We’ve got one booked for end of April, early May, which might still happen, but might not. Depends on if we can get someone to come and stay with him, too much work for kennels. |

I've enjoyed Stanley Tucci as an actor. Can't say I've ever seen anything where he's presenting.
Hello. Fri again. Porridge and Fruit Salad for breakfast. A coffee is waiting on me finishing the porridge.
TV. No Stanley Tucci. We finished the Chippendales drama. What an eejit. I'd have sat back and let the money roll in.
We then watched the second episode of the new series of Your Honor. The Brian Cranston thing. All going Pete Tong. Lovely.
Games. More COD.BR.Warzone. Some lovely sniping from me. Not quite Quicksnipe bollocks, more slow-and-steady-snipe.
That is all. Tired.

I'm feeling less than shevelled this morning. Unshevelled. Also quite worse for where. Where? On a train. Worse? definitely worse than usual, although yesterdays headache has died down.
Quite on the trains today, a combination of half term and none of the metropolitan elite wanting to go to the office on a Friday.
Games - got Wild Hearts on the download, its only the game Monster Hunter World could have been.

I quite like the guy, but I can take or leave his food related TV output. I've heard him speak wittily and engagingly on a few food podcasts I listen to - he was good value on Off Menu - but like you I'm not totally sold on his TV shows. He's got an obvious love of good food and travel (but who fucking doesn't?) but I think you need more of an angle than that to make decent food telly.
I'm basing that on having seen only two or three episodes of his Italy show, if he's done others I'm not aware
