I heart Stephen King. Most books, and a few films, are great. And he uses words I mostly understand. Mostly. I'v read a few Stephen King books. I've found them readable. I've also recently read a couple of James Herbert novels, mainly his later works. Boy, were they a load of old bollocks..

I’m on the plane! I might actually be getting home today! You might want to put your phone into Airplane Mode, just to be on the safe side...

Today I watched the interview with Stephen King on the Late Show where he was promoting his latest book. This led me to check out the Barnes & Noble rankings of his oeuvre www.barnesandnoble.com/blog/every-single-stephen-king-book-ranked/Most of the lower ranking ones I haven't read, with the exception of The Tommyknockers, which comes in dead last (and Cujo, at no. 39). It probably speaks volumes that I didn't think it was that bad. ( Revival is at no. 22)

The tommyknockers is the only SK book I've ever given up on. What a mess.
I'd definitely have Pet Sematary top 5.
(I think. Hang on, top 5 incoming)

Good bits but not really a whole film. You know what would have redeemed those films, Anakin defeating Darth Maul to become Darth Vader That's really not a bad shout. I know there's a theory about jar jar being the original bad guy of the trilogy that has been roundly laughed at, but I can see the logic behind it. Otherwise as you say, why kill off Darth maul, bring in a poor replacement in Count Dooku and then kill him off too? But then they've done the same with Snoke.. and that annoyed me.

Personally I blame Barnes and Noble. I mean, why are they putting in spoilers when they want to sell books?

If they come for Jean Luc Picard or David Attenborough, I'm going to have to switch sides.

I'd always assumed all these actors reached their level of fame, fortune and success by just being nice.

I like Dreamcatcher the kids are from the same place IT is set in.
The Stand was a bit weird.
Loved The Dead Zone.
When my partner moved in she brought her King collection, its loads of books but probably not even half his books.

No other Stephen King book will ever beat The Shining for me. That's because I first read it during a succession of snowy December nights when I was staying in this building surrounded by dozens and dozens of empty rooms.

You all know Darth Maul came back right.
Old ben Kenobi killed him in a sad moment in Rebels.
Maul asks why he is living as a Hobo on Tattoine, senses he is protecting someone.
When Kenobi is holding Maul as he dies, Maul asks if he (Luke) is the chosen one. Kenobi replies that he is indeed. Maul then whispers: "He.. will avenge.. us"
