I’m thinking about the Dune films again. The odd thing is that the people who live on the planet Arrakis all seem to be Arabic / North African. But they’re not because it’s a made-up planet in the future, and the cast don’t seem to be particularly Arabic / North African, so you just get lots of people doing what seem like cartoon Arabic impressions.

I played a bit of that The Finals? The Final? Last night. Was ok for a few games. Then deleted it.
It's fast and furious. I kept pressing the melee button by accident though which was mapped to R3. I don't do that in other games. I wonder if my controller is on the way out.

I also played some Grid Legends in my new Tiddles Approved® FP view and win some races I'd not managed to before.

The Dune wiki page says it's heavily influenced by a book called the Sabres of Paradise. I think I am going to rewatch Lawrence of Arabia while pretending to work today, and order Sabres of Paradise and not read it.

I kinda watched Dune 2 at the cinema but without all the hassle of having to go to the cinema and mix with people. I borrowed it from the internet. Every now and then someone stands up and moves along the seating aisle to go get an ice cream.
