You don’t actually stop smoking. You permit yourself to smoke socially, but throw the cigarettes / tobacco away at the end of the night.
So if you really want a cigarette, when out, you can have one, or more. But then you don’t have them in the house when you would habitually go for one the next day. The nicotine addiction, and smoking habit ebbs away.
It worked for me anyway. But then I haven’t really stopped smoking. I just very rarely want to now…

Dragon’s Dogma has me in a quest funk. The kind of funk where you do what the quest sentence says and nothing happens, and then you run around, interacting with things in the hope that this activates some event, and then you begin to wonder if the game is borked.

I haven't had a fag since 25th April 2018 and I still miss them. I will actively stand near people who are smoking so I can breathe in the delicious sweet smoke.
And it makes you look cool* to girls.
