TVblog: finished the second series of Blake’s 7 last night. Cor! What a cliffhanger.
Filmblog: have watched both Beverly Hills Cop films since watching Axel F the other night. One is better than two.
Also watched most of Men in Black to see if it’s suitable for the boy. A few too many swear words still.

I am currently languishing in bed. I’ve got money woes. I’ve been spending on holidays which I don’t have quite enough to cover. Well I do … I have my savings, but I was hoping to put those towards buying a boat in Amsterdam.
I’ve also just put a review for the hotel I was on on Booking.com. But I pressed the wrong button and it uploaded before I was happy with it. It has typing mistakes and a needlessly downbeat tone. I wish I was able to go back in and edit it.

The canal tour we were on says they're no longer issuing new licences for moorings in Amsterdam so you'll be in a bidding war for one or get one with the boat.
Time Bandits is on Apple TV+. They've shown two episodes and then one a week. Wait till it's all out and grab a week's trial, or steal it.

The man on the canal tour we were on said buying a houseboat would set you back in the region of €1m, which is a bit rich for my blood. But you can buy a competitively priced unmoored boat. Maybe I could get a dinghy and take it across the North Sea. I could then try and become a celebrity as a small-boat illegal immigrant trying to escape Brexit Britain … |
