Morning all, Bit of gaming and plenty of dissertation work. Bought Tales of Symphonia in the Steam sale before reading that you need to patch / mod it to make it playable. Probably just get the Gamecube out of mothballs and play it on that. Morning all Four weeks ago I ordered a pair of Bluetooth headphones which didn't arrive. I raised an issue with the seller via PayPal who responded by asking me to kindly wait 180 days for them to arrive before escalating it. A six month wait for a pair of £8 headphones seemed a bit ridiculous so I escalated it via PayPal asking for a refund. This morning I received an email from PayPal saying they had found in my favour and were arranging a refund. Ten minutes ago the postman delivered a package containing the headphones. So it goes. I've also had that experience with ebay / amazon sellers when buying cheap items. Long wait before contacting them and bang, the package turns up within a few days later looking suspiciously like they just sent it out. 180 days is the deadline for applying for a refund on eBay so sound like they were are at it anyway.

Reading the forums it seems there has been issues with the game but that the official patches mostly sorted it. Might just be my PC.

I'e been diploming, have to say once I had a vague idea of what was going on it's been enjoyable, people have been helpful, minor niggle is you have to keep checking when the next turn begins as there is no notification system, happy I wasn't first out even after doing nothing on my first turn ****

I've absolutely knocked two online training courses out of the park this morning. Did you get a high score?100%, by definition the highest score imaginable, and 90% because one of the questions was stupid.

You're doing it wrong.

By the way, I forgot to mention that the trend of messing up online supermarket deliveries as first reported by Crankcaller continues. Anyone in Birmingham missing a pack of frozen garlic bread from their Ocado delivery?
This is almost as entertaining as my special move in real supermarkets: absentmindedly grabbing other peoples' trolleys and leaving them with my own. But I've never made it through the checkout with other peoples' groceries

"Gravitating away from Ocado towards Sainsbury's" Oooh, that's really slumming it. I suppose it's much worse now that Nick's out of a job. He might have to do his shopping in Tesco

Afternoon.
Games: Fallout 4. Planted a MILA and did the rounds of my settlements collecting junk and purified water.
Other: work, what is it good for?

He might have to do his shopping in Tesco A few years ago, while commuting on a train, I over heard someone* say: "I've got a lot of time for Sainsbury's, it keeps the poor people out of Waitrose" *a total bell end

Now that we've moved offices, I no longer have the gamut of choice that central Brighton offered me. So I made my first trip to the local Waitrose. Posh, possibly too posh for me.

When I was thinking of a cheap frozen foods store near that end of Sheffield I couldn't think of any and I've walked passed Fultons several times

I like waitrose because it keeps all the posh cunts out of tescos

I lived opposite Fultons in Crookes, Clegg was my MP as well. I saw him on the last election day speaking to a cyclist in the entrance of the train station, he seemed quite care free. I expect he is earning loads more money now.

The audience started booing and he had to add that it was supposed to be a joke. The British take these things very seriously.
