Also, I thought Shenguin sounded a bit like Josh Widdicombe. The little hobbit man? Now that's bostin'. Bostin'. I'm sure you meant bostin. Awroight.

I have spent a depressingly long time taking a motherboard out and putting a new one in. Still haven't put all the new cables in, I expect it will all blow up anyway. Always best to take your time with these things.

Re-downloaded fortnite. Will need to learn how to build something before I attempt group play.
Chilli bubbling away on the stove. Now to hoover before I get caught up playing games.

I presumed Baby was mostly quiet last night because Xbox chat has to be pre-moderated.
It's also why he seemed reasonable. And neither Scottish nor a posh Brummie.

If you learn how to build, you'll be way too advanced. Basic skills you need are jumping out of the bus, thanking the driver, and dying.

Re-downloaded fortnite. Will need to learn how to build something before I attempt group play This was the strategic advice I was repeatedly given by Mrs Faceless when she watched me playing Fortnite. "build more stuff" That and "you need to learn to shoot better"

I'm not thanking the driver. He/she takes me to my death every time. Is that new? I've never noticed that in my *checks stats* 24 minutes of previous gameplay.

It's new. Presumably a totally new experience for you in any case, since you live in a city with the rudest bus drivers in the world?

Maybe start on creative mode to get the skills up to scratch then.
In survival you have to fight off zombies and stuff and you start with nothing. You need to smash a tree to get wood to make tools etc. My pals son was probably about that age - but he had played other stuff.
The demo is available if you want to take a look before buying it.

First games to show children is an interesting subject.
The first game I ever played was Batman: The Movie on the Amiga 500. Could never get passed the damned chemical works - the first level.

Anyone on here do fantasy football? Don't you ask that every season / major tournament a little too late, and everyone looks at their shoes and feels bad for not inviting you? I'm not doing it this season, so I don't feel bad about breaking it to you like this. Train was delayed, so I am not even going to get to see the second half of the match. The curry tonight had better be bloody good to make this trip worth it.

Just spent 4 hours, with the preferred mammal, building this: Have to say for £60 it's pretty good

Strangely enough it looks pretty good, everything fitted together and once you got used to the idiosyncrasies of the instructions relatively easy to put together and more importantly no arguments

Next you'll be telling me that the cat did not regard the partially built shelf as its private amusement park and started playing footy with the screws. 'cause that's what happens every time I'm putting flatpack furniture together. *sob*

Playing Octopus Sealslapper and getting a Chinese takeaway for dinner. Life doesn't get better than this.
Hope Shenguin's curry lived up to expectations. Travelling to Birmingham on the eve of the Tory party conference is always risky. Once a year we live in fear of becoming a collateral in divine retribution.

So posho has travelled to Brum on the eve of the Tory party conference "to see the footy and have a curry"
Ok then.
(Sorry Shenguin. I'm trying to do a mission in GTA that really needs two folk if you're shit. I am and I ballsed it up and wasted 30 mins. I'm lashing out)

Hi Anyone knownif Minecraft is easy for a six year old to get into. My son wanted to play fortnite which isnt going to happen but he has now mentioned Minecraft. Ive heard of it and seems a good game for young kids to play but they have tried Mario and Wonderboy 3 and they have shit controller skills, i dont remember ever being as bad. Hi That's about the same age I got my youngest daughter into gaming. And with that very game. I've not really played it, but after being asked (kids at school had it), I just downloaded it to my old Ps3 and gave her the controller. Then left the room...not really, gave a few tips I'd cribbed for her older cousin. Then left. Some of the creations she built were pretty impressive. I would say it's the perfect game for that age. She then asked for mincraft story mode, so that was purchased for birthday. Got the disc with all episodes on, but less of a hit, think it was too old for her. I then tried to introduce 'proper' games so bought the Sega megadrive classics (that 40ish games bundle). The only one that got a lot of game time was Streets of Rage. And then Fortnite came along. Everyone at school is playing it etc... So downloaded to my ps4. Six months later, she only wants to play Fortnite. It's a great game, but it's just one game, all the time. Hence one of the reasons I just bought a minis snes was to introduce something else. So far Mario karts is a hot, but got bored with secret of mana. Tldr - kids like games their mates are playing. I'm probably not in the running for parent of the year*. *the head teacher at the primary school sent out a letter saying "it has some to my attention some children are playing an age 12 game... Blah... your scum if you do this etc..blah"
