Just wrecked the cable of the hand blender on the stove. I just assumed the smell of burning plastic was coming from my pasta sauce. You should probably use all the helpful advice we gave Felice(?) when he had the same dilemma of needing a new hand blender.. |

I can probably rescue it with a piece of terminal strip and some electrical tape but I'm not sure if I will or should. Will speak to Mrs Cranks dad.
{Edit} The blender cable not the sweet, sweet baked eggs.

Also evening all,
No games this weekend. Weak.
My nephew said my name for the first time this weekend! And now is shouting it repeatedly, win for uncle bloggie. Not only is it annoying my brother, but I am also the first uncle to have his name said. So that'll annoy his other half's family too.
TV: Some BoJack horseman, just watched one episode where it was one straight monologue. It was amazing.

Today I'm deliriously happy because we discovered a car jet wash at a convenient petrol station. This means that we don't have to travel halfway to Solihull every time the birds in the tree in front of our house are mistaking the car for a public toilet, which is all of the time. Because one's got to constantly hold down the trigger for the car wash hose my right hand feels as if it starred in the last episode of Bodyguard. Fortunately tonight I'm playing a JRPG that requires minimal input as I can hardly hold a controller.
While I was washing the car (with Mr Tent Rooster sat inside, listening to Radio 4) a number of yoofs (post-millennials) on bikes gathered around us. First we assumed they were just there for the thrill, but as we left one of them came along with a freshly purchased code for the jet wash and they were getting ready to clean their BMX bikes. Back in my day no-one would have ever spent money to clean a FRIGGING BIKE. What is WRONG with these young people? Are they aliens? Are they on drugs? Are they aliens on drugs?

My friend has a fancy satnav that will accept verbal instructions. We were going to a sinister war dolly tournament near Solihull earlier in the year and it would only accept Solihull as a word if you literally screeched at it in the roughest voice possible "SOLY'ULL!"
The place itself matched this instructions tone.

Stupid sexy backlog. Hi, As you've obviously played it before, what is the reason for the grey/metallic boxes with arrows/symbols? I set a bomb off, accidentally, and one time they had arrows pointing, funnily enough in the direction I needed to get so that makes sense, understood . Another time, when I was above an area with a critter below that I couldn't access, I tried a bomb and it changed the space below to a grey square symbol. But I still couldn't get down. I'm early on, but after realising that I couldn't turn all the map to pink (which is what I was focusing on) without going way ahead to return with the correct weapon, it's turning into a brilliant game. Trying not to to look at any walk through, but I did once to now understand I couldn't access a certain place. It's now so obvious, colours! Oh, and stupid fast butterfly things. |

Just finished watching Killing Eve. Absolutely fucking ridiculous, but entertaining.
Also played 2 games of Fortnite. It's been a couple of months so I couldn't remember the controls. First game 50 v 50 I panicked and tried to shoot teammates, fell of a cliff then waited to die. Second game solo. Came across another player who was fully tooled up while I had no weapons. We stood facing each other for a few seconds, before he casually cycled through his guns then shot me with a pistol. Good times.
