Off the charts in some quarters. Morning! Fillums. Half of Solo. Mrs Crank fell asleep. Not a comment on the film. Watch the rest Sunday night. Games. Sleeping Dogs. Rescued uncle Po from the Wedding. Eventually. Took about 10 goes. Didn't realise you had to drag him all the way. Was leaving him and going back. Weekend. Yay! |

Just what kind of Saturday is this? It's wet, it's windy and I haven't had enough sleep.
Breakfast: koffikoffikoffikoffffeee, toast with a posh organic hazelnut & cocoa spread that had glowing online reviews, "better than Nutella". No, mate. Nutella actually tastes of something.
Still, 4 *s, I guess.

Morning! Games etc? None! I feel like I am entering winter mode now. Constantly knackered and barely added enough to raise the tv remote in the evening. Ottm? I got given a record player as an early birthday present. However, I haven't bought a record in 20 years and all the old ones are getting eaten by mice in my folks' garage. Have you seen the price of these things nowadays? Not that im not grateful etc etc. amipal I will be in Copenhagen the weekend around the 16th ish. |

Certainly the Concorde ones folk use for dj'n are £140 a pair these days. Did you get a deck that's part of a.proper hi-fi setup? Im very jealous. I don't have records any more. When I moved in with Mrs Crank I gave away the good stuff to pals who DJ and binned the landfill indie. Kinda wish I'd kept all the classic house and hip hop. Hey ho. There is some stuff from my mum's in my wardrobe I need to get on discogs as it's worth a wee bit of money. |

Suspect the record player itself is budget end of the market but I have it plugged into a v good amp and speakers that I have had since the late 80s. Most things sound good through that. I'm not sure if modern vinyl is higher tech / less likely to warp etc than the old stuff? |

From my very occasional visits to fopp/hmv they seem to all have 130gms! Stickers so hopefully the slightly heavier vinyl won't warp. At £30 for an album I'd bloody hope so.

I've just spent a chunk of my morning cleaning floors. The child now wants to play with 'magic sand' Its main magical property seems to be it gets bloody everywhere. |
