Major Victor Cornwall and Major Arthur St John Trevelyan sure write dirty. What would their nannies think?

Hi
I'm on a train en route to a works Xmas party.
Positives: It has a free bar and free food
Negatives: I'd rather be at home It's in a different city to where I live so I've had to fork out for train fares and a hotel room
So, by my calculations, I need two more positives. One to cancel the negative and one because I want to feel positive.

Who has an office Christmas party at the weekend?

I'm sitting with Mr Tent Rooster in a car, waiting while an elderly relative is having her hair done. Luckily I've got my Switch to play Octopus Sealslapper while Mr Tent Rooster has Radio 4 to listen to. I'd also much rather be at home.

So is the elderly relative in the passenger seat, hairdresser behind her. You in the driving seat & Mr Rooster behind you? How does it work? Do you have a sheet down?
I'm making chilli and skanking round the kitchen to a Norman Jay mix.
{Edit}Oh and the tree is up. No fights. It's a Xmas miracle.

Hmmm I'm preparing to go hiking but it's cold and about to snow. Wife but the tree and Deer up already so our xmas is done!
I'm going to have to devote some time to RDR2 as the pump is wearing off....it seems so daunting. Great but daunting.

If a man who thinks nothing of driving 300 miles through the tundra to pick up some fake chicken nuggets is daunted by RDR2, then what chance do the rest of us have..?

Oh and the tree is up. No fights. It's a Xmas miracle. Our tree is up too. Though not where I put it. While we were out shopping/in the pub our younger daughter relocated it. By putting our printer on the floor. We were not impressed. Cue one sulking daughter and no Christmas miracle. 'Tis the season indeed...

Who has an office Christmas party at the weekend? Probably the bean counting suits thought it would lessen the impact on productivity. Or some other shit. The wankers. I've got one of my positives back though as I've just had a shrimp bao. Four stars.

No, we were waiting in the hairdresser's car park like the outcasts we are, ready to step in when she couldn't pay because of course she had forgotten her PIN, but it's a good idea - maybe I could turn the car into a pop-up hair salon. I definitely had the better entertainment, though. Mr Rooster had to sit through a feature on a museum in Ulster dedicated to the Troubles, followed by an interview with one of the Spice Girls. By that time he was almost ready to put into practice what he'd learnt about explosive devices that afternoon.

What's the grammatically correct term for Santa's little helpers?
Subordinate Clauses.

Power back on and I'm still here, doing Saturday night right I hope you have learnt that no matter how annoying Shenguin's stalking may be, it is not worth moving anywhere serviced by Western Power Distribution. (Although they have been good recently after they fixed their faulty cable.)

I just watched the Han Solo movie. It was perfectly fine. Can't see what all the nerdy whingeing was about.

The fight scene with the strobes was a tad trippy. I nearly had a flashback. See they've broadcast 2001 in 8k in Japan BabyfarkmcGeezak and there you're telling me not to bother. Fake news!

See they've broadcast 2001 in 8k in Japan I lived through 2001 in full analogue glory. It was good, I had fun. Not sure I need to relive an entire year in 8K though.
