Beer: yes. Munich Spaten beer for the lager louts and Bishops Finger (how many Fingers am I holding up?) for everyone else.
TV: more War & Peace costume drama, but also more Dr Who! Mr Tent Rooster won't outright admit that he likes it, but says that it's 'entertaining'.
Games: huge progress over the last days in Octodad Travel Charger. The Runelord ability makes short work of most bosses, but now I've acquired the Starseer job by beating one of the extra tough bosses that guard these abilities on my first try. I'm noticing that I'm now in territory no longer covered by walkthroughs etc.
Yesterday I also voted on the video games awards website, except for all the e-sports people and events that I know nothing about. I didn't know anything about the student projects either, but I looked them up and chose one that seemed nice. I can't understand why they don't put a trailer or something for every nominee.

Me! It was me! How'd it turn out? Apologies! Yeah it turned out well. I'd chopped the chorizo down quite small as the child likes the flavour it adds - but doesn't like the texture. It kinda disappeared into the thing which was good. She was more suspicious of 1cm cubes of red pepper "What's this" "Tomato..." "Hmm... sure it's not red pepper?" No actual chilli in it - but paprika, cumin, coriander, garlic. tenthenemy Yeah they're open here on Sundays I'm glad to say or I'd never manage to get my hair cut. The guy used an open razor on me which is a first. Was slightly nervous as it is Sunday. Shaky hands and all that. |

I loved star wars once but I do recognise they are essentially children's films. All the recent ones seem mildly tedious to me, give or take. Decent homages to the originals, and not as shit as the prequels. Bear in mind that I saw Return of the Jedi when it was first out at the cinema and I'm not feeble-minded so my Star Wars opinions are better than yours. Children's films? Surely samurai! |
