Halloo
Last night I came 4th in a pub quiz which is pretty poor. There was even a round on video game characters! I did not know what/who a 'Pudge' is.
I also played more Xenoblade 2 which is an odd one. Sort of ugly but with good art underneath, really needs the awful sharpen filter turned off.
babyfarkmcgeezak - Are you real? Or are you a constructed personality based off old 1970's comedian routines?

It's Wiggler Wednesday again, thank the lord.
More Wolfenstein last night, I broke out of a prison in a massive robot and helped a Scottish guy find a welder.
What am I even doing?

Thanks for the welder Llama, now I can finally get this heroin going.
Games, of the board variety: Played Splendour, which is a card buy, points, gems style of thing type game...I cant explain it very well. Take my word for it though, its a very good game. Light on rules but heavy on thinking. I won 2 games out of 3 because I am the best (and also the worst)

Splatoon has gotten considerably harder now people have had months to got gid. I was absolutely destroying it when it first came out.
Who is this David Davis character? I have a feeling it’s something to do with Brexit but he seems a bit all over the place, can’t figure out whose side he’s on. Also couldn’t even bother to change more than one letter for his surname? Bit lazy.

The problems are
A) Not all homeless people are genuinly homeless.
B) Some can get nasty.
There was a young lad who used to beg near where I work. Id give him some change sometimes. A few weeks ago he was in front of a judge and asked him to keep him in jail so he had somewhere to stay warm for his birthday. Turns out he is autistic and has basically been failed by society.

It's a combination of people with disabilities (which is terrible) and (in greater numbers) drug addicted scallywag males aged 18 to 30.

Also was in a shop and saw a homeless person buying a massive picture. It was The Great Bear (where the artist changed the name of the underground stations to people of note).
Where was he going to put it?
The only thing i could think of was he was building a den out of works of art. The roof would be a massive print of the cistine chapel.
Im using the edit function not to change the mistake but to laugh at it.

When I found out he had been sleeping rough I asked him why when I have an empty garage. I hope he realised that I was joking and would have let him sleep in the house.

Well he was begging and I have always associated beggars with either being homeless or pretending to be.

So much for the season of goodwill. That the problem most people will help a person in need ( I hope) but because of people pretending to be homeless etc people are now less likely to help. Councils are telling people to stop given them money ( the same councils who dont want you to feed pidgeons).

The last couple of days at work have really underlined to me how appalling other people are. Not you guys, obviously, you're not real people.

Councils are telling people to stop given them money ( the same councils who dont want you to feed pidgeons). I know someone who works for Middlesbrough Council pretty well and, apparently, there's only one 'genuinely homeless' person in Middlesbrough. The rest have refused help, houses etc. despite being offered many times. It's supposedly due to the stipulations that they'd have to get help for various addictions in order to get the lodgings. I don't know what the one other person has done to not be offered a place but, there you go.

My dad's friend was mistaken for a homeless person once. He starting asking someone in the street if they had any change (meaning for a fiver, to use in a parking meter) and they offered to take him somewhere warm for a cup of tea. He was a journalist, mind you, so he was probably drunk.

Morning All!
Spent the last 4 days feeling very sorry for myself whilst rubbing my nose raw and coughing up a lung. I have been ill. In better news (yes, better than me not posting for a while!) I have beaten my gaming funk by restarting Stardew Valley. Currently up to my first Winter. Think I've made quicker progress this time around. Just need 2 fish, 2 pieces of animal produce and the chef bundle to finish the community centre. Pretty sure it took me until Year 2 Autumn last time around.
