My Dad puts on a comedy Apu voice when he sees Indian people. My dad used to ask for a "carendar" when going to the local Chinese restaurant. Our Dads would get on well*

I was about to post this:

...and then I paused and thought back and realised he wasn't, he married a Mohawk Indian, never said anything racist that wasn't generally accepted in the '70s, he did have a thing about queers but never showed it and never said or implied that women were inferior to men.
Strange how perspective changes with the distance of time.

Switch owners!
I was in "Deep Woods" in Mario Odyssey this morning on way to work. As I had to get off the train I saved the game and got off. I've just restarted on the way home but it's put me back to the Odyssey not where I was. Do saves always do that?
If I'd just put the game to sleep I assume I'd be where I left off?

Depends entirely on game. Odyssey does it like that, but there are all kinds of different save schemes. BOTW has a couple of save files that you can load, like Skyrim (unless you used Quicksave in Skyrim). Other games have save points and will obviously spawn you there. You are right: whatever game you are playing, if you put the Switch into sleep mode you can pick up exactly from where you were. |

I'm brain dead and watching Dr Who from 2005, Christopher Eccleston season. Rose Tyler uses "gay" as a casual insult without any suggestion that it might be offensive or narrative context that might justify the obvious homophobia.
What I'm saying is, is Felice's Dad Billie Piper? I do hope so.
