Reviewed our car insurance at the weekend and it turns out I have 3 points on my licence from August 2016 for speeding. At no point did I get a letter about this and now have a £220 fine. Best of all I wasn't even driving that day, it was my partner (I rarely drive). No idea why they think it was me.
I have to ring the magistrates and either pay it or dispute it. I guess I'll probably have to pay it.

Morning!
Smash Bros finally clicked, once I unlocked the Mii Swordfighter. He's awesome. Now blasting through the world of light mode, even killed one of the big bosses, Bowser. Although, I used Peach for him, as her floatiness made it quite easy. I've figured out that if you get stuck on a stage it's likely that there's a helpful spirit nearby. Unless you're facing Ness in a stamina match, then you just need to get very lucky.
TV! More Ash vs Evil Dead where they've returned to the cabin. Not good. Also, Forged in Fire: Tournament edition. It's finally gotten good again, after a period of shite 'contestants'.

Good morning boxers!
I avoided two Christmas parties this weekend which was pretty great. Sat at home and played game most of the weekend and spent Sunday having a roast and watching the football down t'pub.
Games: yes! Powering through smash Bros, which continues to impress. The attention to detail in the adventure mode is wonderful.
I also got through a lot of RDR2! Back in it and I am horse balls deep. Went to visit a scientist lab deep in the mountains for a mission which has annoyingly randomly disappeared, so I set up camp, got set upon my some hillbillies who live in a cave- they let me go, I shot them dead (obviously) before I stumbled into the legendary stag. Shot him, took to the trapper - on the way helped some woman who's fallen off her horse, only for it to be a trap. Shot them all, sold the fur and switched off.
What. A. Game.

Games.
Mario Odyssey. Down a dark forest getting chased off a Dinosaur. Got the later train as it has tables and takes longer to get to work so I'll get a wee shot of Mario.
TV. Community. 1 more episode of S1 to go.
My pal and his boyfriend got a ticket like that. They both claimed they weren't driving or couldn't remember who was driving at the time of the speeding. Not sure what the outcome was. Think they asked for photo from the camera etc.

Overdone it on Saturday and felt like I was going to die yesterday. Fortunately, I had two 1st birthday parties to attend and that's exactly where you want to be when hungover...
Finished RDR officially last week, so I've been pondering what's next on my list. Whilst waiting, I tried out the Devil May Cry V demo on Xbox and it's bloody good. Put me back into the mood to play a hack and slash, so Bayonetta rolls on.
I want Smash. Do I need to buy a different controller or is it possible to play it with Joy Cons? |

Weird building sort of top-right on the map? I spent ages getting there only for the mission marker to disappear. I assume it's only available at certain times of the day. I then killed the legendary moose, took the fur to the trapper only for the law to turn up and murderize both me and my horse. Happy days. |

I employed a very courageous hit and run technique. Left/ Right + Special does a nice dash attack which can be done whilst floating. Then you just have to look out for his stomp and breath. After ~20 attempts with Mii Swordfighter it was a relief for him to go down in just 3 attempts with Peach. Some nice rewards for it, too. |

Hello chumps.
Finished the 3rd series of Arrested Development last night. Now umming and ahhing over whether to carry on into the 4th series redux, of just to leave it there.
Games! More Black Flag. My "whack it on for half an hour" turned into a major story bit, which meant a full-hour of shenanigans.
This also included a hacking-puzzle which, after a few glasses of red wine was more troublesome than it should have been.
