Nothing beats the traditional game of Trivial Pursuit with a version that's missing half the cards and all the questions are from 1993.

On a similar note, any suggestions for a good two player board game? The better half and I played 7 Wonders: Duel last year and quite enjoyed it. Twilight Struggle Hammer of the Scots Thanks 'zord, I'll check them out.

From my limited knowledge of board games, Ticket to Ride (Europe edition) is definitely worth a look - easy to pick up, gains a bit of depth as you get into it, doesn't take too long to play. It got my family through a camping holiday last year without the expected fatalities.

What's wrong with a good old game of 'Crossbows and Catapaults'?

The tombstone avatar for guests really fits in with the whole "ghosts of Christmas past" shtick

As does getting the silent treatment from LQL.

As does getting the silent treatment from LQL. Not really. I mean, noting the silent treatment LQL has handed out is fine, but how does that fit with A Christmas Carol or the Ghost of Christmas Past?

The tombstone avatar for guests really fits in with the whole "ghosts of Christmas past" shtick Perhaps a break from the past is needed though. Perhaps we need the wave of the future...

Ghosts don't talk, so LQL failing to type anything fits in well. A pale echo of the shell of the real person he once was.
I'd say it was a sad loss, but i have some regard for truth and accuracy.

Thanks to a total cock up during an experiment, this has resulted in having insufficient resources to repeat said experiment tomorrow, leading to me asking for and getting tomorrow off. Hooray for incompetence.
