Hello you lot. The "good" lot.
This discord thing is very Huddley. It feels more like the G+ app than either this place or the original blog. Fully agree with Destry that this place, nu-blog, is a more accurate reflection of the previous format, which I think I prefer. But I'm willing to give discord a try. Heck, I might result in some of the denizens of that place landing in nu-blogtown.
In Odyssey last night I carried on with the main quest. And also searching around for stuff courtesy of some stone tablets.

Morning.
Cold, old, rattly train you say? Don't mind if I do...
Passively aggressivly guarding my double seat? OK, just aggressivly. Why do people pile into the first carriage when I can see plenty of seats in the carriage behind?
TV. More the wire s4 on the train. Games. Already regretting signing up for dip.
Today is my Friday as is it usually.

Morning
The lurgy seems to have departed and I am back in the office.
All in all, i'd rather be playing Elite with tissue up each nostril

BOLLOCKS... As if my life wasn't bloody difficult enough already ... get up... bleary eyed switch coffee machine on, while grabbing hold of things to stay upright. Stagger to the loo, hobble back into the kitchen to find coffee, coffee grounds all over the counter... a-frigging-hour later and I am back in bed. With a cup of tea... 10.55am So, splitting headache and another delightful hour cleaning coffee grounds off the sink, which is an excellent brilliant pure white stoneware jobbie... ...quite beautiful, unlike plastic coated or stainless (hah!) sinks it doesn't scratch with cleaning, but it shows ANY mark. So cleaning that and the surrounds and the unit underneath, the floor... oh god will it never end ....

To everyone's astonishment I'm working from home today. It's a busy schedule: Morning - awaiting delivery of hire lens; getting haircut; paying boilerman Afternoon - double-glazing measurements; picking up family from a variety of locations
And I need to get some lunch in there too. And work. Oh, and snap something for a camera club "3" set subject. It's all-go.

Morning all,
More red dead, shooting things, blowing stuff up, just Arthur Morgan stuff.
Preferred mammal gets back tomorrow, so no more games, I have a house to blitz.

Anyone else ever wonder what Amipal really does for a living? Always works from home, has to pop out to make deliveries, or wait in for people. Add that to the occasional message suggesting he's anti drugs.

Morning all! Spent most of yesterday watching parliament, I almost punched my computer screen when Gove kicked off. @smellavision thanks for invite to the discord. It is a bit bewildering, won't replace this place for me but could complement it in my ongoing quest to do fuck all work, ever. Games? No Telly? 30 Rock! But I was mostly asleep on the sofa.

I am going to take some exercise today for the first time since the middle of November. This time tomorrow I'll have lost the use of my arms and legs so will be F5ing the Brexit updates with my nose.

But seriously, my role is BAU support meaning a lot of waiting around for things to break. So the benefit of working from home means that I can at least get bits done while waiting. Even more so since the office moved out of the centre of Brighton.

Passively aggressivly guarding my double seat? OK, just aggressivly. Why do people pile into the first carriage when I can see plenty of seats in the carriage behind? The worst is when people come and sit opposite you in the double seat/table thing in a nearly empty train with plenty of normal seats available, and then don't even use the table. Why do people do that? Wiggling from home today, outlaws are still in bed and I can hear grunting and writhing emanating from the room. Bit odd. I'm not sure how I feel about this discord thing, its not really the same feel as the chatterbox, which Destry is doing a top job of emulating here. The terroir of the chat is quite important I think.

Passively aggressivly guarding my double seat? OK, just aggressivly. Why do people pile into the first carriage when I can see plenty of seats in the carriage behind? We need some sort of etiquette test put in place before people are allowed to use public transport. It could cover things as simple as where to sit, all the way up to how to avoid eye contact when standing in a carriage.
