Yes, Aldi is great for cheap beer. My itinerary is Lidl for my cheap butter, yoghurt and mechanically-reclaimed meat, then a stop at Aldi for beer. Our local Tesco had big gaps in some sections last week, and were selling militia-bunker sized boxes of stuff like washing powder. Wondered if it might be the start of stockpile mania.

Tim's are the worst, they live off what they can steal from the vegetables out front of corner shops. I have a few Catholic friends who would disagree. Some of my best friends followed Rome at some point.

Look at the camera club to see how that's playing out. In regards to this... Glen is a bit autistic, so sometimes goes a bit funny with social norms. I think he also thinks that I'm some sort of evil-twin/enemy of his, so also goes a bit funny with that. All a bit odd.

I’ve been part of the hangouts since Chatterbox died. It is cliquey, but everyone’s known each other for years, so it will be.

I'll need clean clothes to dine on the neighbours. Can't turn up looking scruffy.

OTTM - I'm working from home at the kitchen table today, and father outlaw wandered in this morning, pyjama bottoms at half mast at the back (not joking, this was builder's crack++++++. full arse), completely ignored my greeting, switched off the kitchen light and went and toileted, door wide open. Then on the way back to bed poked his head in to say good morning. textbook.

In other news, I've just secured my ticket for Raith end of the Fife derby.
As I've no idea which side likes the Pope and which side hates him, I've been trying to think of non-sectarian slurs to rile the Dunfermline fans. The best I've got is "You live in Dunfermline", which would be a devastating blow if it was something you weren't aware of but I'm guessing they are.

I think he was referring to the use of the word 'Tim' as part of the ever-hilarious (and not always mutually respectful) argot of Scottish football. We don;t need to go any further into it.
